“Matrix, don’t you see what’s wrong with that?” Corbin exclaimed. “Half of my lifetime. I don’t want to be without you for that long!”
“Matrix, don’t you see what’s wrong with that?” Corbin exclaimed. “Half of my lifetime. I don’t want to be without you for that long!”
"That's cheesy." Matrix laughs, "I'll be fine. That's the worse he can do. And then with the help of Belial and Furfur's help. It's be a forth."
“Matrix, quit with the jokes and the laughing. I’m trying to be serious with you,” Corbin said.
"And so am I. Just leave." He points to the car
Corbin gave Matrix a final, upset look. He pulled Matrix to him to press their lips together for a long moment before hugging onto him. “If you leave me..” he started, but trailed off.
Matrix hugs him back, "I'll be fine. Just get to the nearest Church. And stay there until Furfur comes for you. Promise. K? Satan never fights. he just argues."
(Furfur technically isn't a real demon just a guardian of the borders of hell. So he can go into churches.)
(Okay)
Corbin pressed his lips to the side of Matrix’s neck. “What do I do when.. Furfur comes?”
"Follow him home. Here. Belial will meet you and help." matrix pulls away from Corbin, smiling slightly
Corbin gave a small nod of his head. “Stay safe, okay?” He said and stepped towards the truck.
Matrix steps away with a nod, "Furfur will follow to make sure you get there safe. So don't mind the deer that is keeping pace with you." He smile
Corbin nodded his head. “Alright. I’ll see you soon, then,” he said. He got into the truck, hand on the wheel. He hated having to leave Matrix to fend for himself.
Matrix turns around toward the forest and walks toward it.
Corbin watched Matrix for a moment before pulling out of the drive and onto the road.
Furfur snorts as he starts to follow the car through forest.
Matrix looks around at all the trees
Vaughn glanced in the rearview mirror at Orion for a moment. After a few minutes, he pulled up to a smal church that seemed to be closed. He stuffed his things into a duffel bag after parking. He got out with Orion and went over, pulling the heavy doors open.
Furfur skids to a stop just beyond Corbin's door. He looked like a normal deer except for the fact he had wings
Matrix freezes as a fuzzy mist seemed to strut in his brain
Corbin went into the church with Orion and his bag. It was dark, and he didn’t bother switching any lights on. He walked down the main isle before slipping into a row of pews.
Furfur follows the human silently.
Matrix stops in his tracks as mist envelops him
Corbin sat down and set his bag down. Orion saf next to him, sniffing the air. He took the military issued rifle from his bag and checked to make sure it was loaded.
"He'll be fine. " Furfur walks forward hesitantly.
Matrix roars as he was thrown into a tree. His back bending at an odd angle.
Corbin’s head snapped up, and immediatly trained the rifle on the creature. The thin, red aiming light shot through the darkness, the red dot right on the creatures chest. “You’re the creature Matrix mentioned?” He asked, still aiming the weapon at it.
"Furfur. Yes. Acting as a bodyguard. " he shrugs. His ears where pinned back
Matrix snarls at the red, mangled mass of limbs and whatnot in front of him.
Corbin clenched his jaw tightly. Orion’s ears were pinned as well, but in a hostile way. He slowly lowered the rifle.
"Yeah… That's right… Just calm down." Furfur sighs, "It doesnt take long. Matrix'll be back in a while."
Corbin let out a sharp huff. “I should have stayed,” he said.
"No. You shouldn't have." Furfur trots past them and up to the alter of the church, "You're brave to fall for someone like that though. I'm impressed."
Corbin frowned at that. “How do you know about that?” He asked.
"Ha! Dude! I'm Matrix's friend. He told me. And that is also why I volunteered to be your bodyguard." Furfur sighs.
Matrix yells at the weird mass in a completely different voice and language
Corbin frowned. “He shouldn’t have told anyone,” he mumbled. He shifted his jacket to cover one of the marks on his neck.
Furfur raises his brow at the move, "Why not?"
