(waiting for Moxie)
(Sorry guys. Stuff… happened and I had homework)
Instantly, the full attention of both siblings was focused on the woman before them. Neither dared to speak, or breathe, they only nodded and waited. Julie reached for Sam's hand and squeezed it. She knew how much getting this job meant to him, and as much as she desired it as well, she wished only the best for him.
Casey watched their movements. Not that she cared, but she could tell her decision would not tear these two siblings apart. She cleared her throat. “You were both very impressive but I will be taking Sam on to my team.”
Sam’s eyes widened in desbelief. Speechless, he turned to his sister, then back to Casey, then back to his sister, who hugged him tightly. “I think he means to say ‘thank you’,” she translated, ruffling his hair.
Sol was back in the kitchen, wearing a sweatshirt and shorts. She poured herself coffee and added sugar and cream, and pointedly ignored whatever was happening with the new people as Casey had requested. She sat at the counter quietly sipping from he mug.
Casey smiled a small, genuine smile. It was as if her hard exterior became transparent for just a moment, then she was back in an instant. “Lovely. Well I you will be expected to stay here until we leave, so I suggest you gather all the things you need and the things you will need for the trip.” Casey said. “Any questions?”
“Not at the moment,” he replied, still in a daze. “Thank you.” He stood, slightly unsteady.
“Don’t thank me just yet,” Casey said with a small smirk. “I’ll leave you to that. Be back here in—“ she looked at her watch. “three hours.” She walked into the kitchen and looked at Sol. “Are you alright?” she asked, quietly.
Luca shuffled out of her room, looking adorably ruffled. She scratched at her mop of messy blonde curls as she walked into the kitchen with her eyes closed. She looked her age for once, like a cranky twenty-one year old. She was still wearing Cam's shirt, this time with a pair of plaid pj shorts under it, but somehow it suit her. "Didja pick one?" She mumbled to Casey as she blindly started making tea.
(Edited) Casey shooed Luca away from the tea and led her over to a barstool at the kitchen island. “The boy,” she said as she started to make the tea herself. When it was ready she placed it in front of Luca, along with cream and sugar. Luca was blinking sleepily.
Sol gave a small nod and took another sip of her coffee. "I suppose he likes tea, then, doesn't he?" Sol quirked her eyebrow at Casey. "What's his name?"
(should the siblings go back to their house to help Sam pack up? Sorry that I'm not entirely sure what to do with them at the moment)
(oh, I forgot, should I post his template here as well?)
(yes please to both of those. And then you can make Sam come back whenever and Casey can give him a tour and give him the low down on the mission)
(kk)
Sol gave a small nod and took another sip of her coffee. "I suppose he likes tea, then, doesn't he?" Sol quirked her eyebrow at Casey. "What's his name?"
“Samuel. Sam. And yes, as a matter of fact, he does,” Casey said, pouring a new cup of tea for herself.

"Discrimination at its finest," Sol joked. "Is Cam still asleep? I thought he'd be up by now."
Luca shifted on the bar stool, reaching for the cream and sugar as she finally opened her eyes all the way. Only to squint as the sunshine filtered through the window. "Ugh. So bright– He seemed good. A little skittish, but I think he will do well. " She paused, recalling what she picked up on him from earlier. It seemed like a life time and several good rolls in the hay ago. Luca smiled a bit to herself before clearing her throat. "He seems very centered at his core. Intelligent and confident in his ability, but too shy to show it. I don't think he'd be stupid enough to betray anyone."
She sipped her tea, grimacing before adding more sugar to it. The next sip she choked on.
"Oh! Cam is–certainly– sleeping–still….Late night. I guess…"
Ooh, Sam and Sol have kinda similar personalities with loyal and peacekeeper (kinda) and stuff))
(Oh shit i forgot to throw Cam in here lmao)
Cameron was awake, and he had stayed that way. He was comfortably stretched across the bed with his feet hanging off of the edge. Yes, he had made Luca put on a pair of pants and talked to her some, but she had walked out again. Now with his head hanging off the bed with his sore, cold body covered, he was bored.
(yeah lol)
The moment that the siblings got back to the flat that Samuel shared with his friend, Caspian, Julie squealed loudly and threw her arms around her brother. "Oh my god, you got it!" Sam flushed, a huge, almost dorky smile present on his face. "God, you're more excited than I am!" After a bit of back and forth bantering, with no hard feelings at all, the two got to work with packing Sam's bag.
Within the next twenty minutes, they were finished, left only with a very nervous Sam standing hesitantly by the door. Julie wrapped him up in a huge hug, kissing him on the cheek. "Good luck! Send me texts, 'kay? And just because you're suddenly living with them for now, doesn't mean I'm out of your life until you get back. We'll meet up, right?"
"Yes, Julie, of course."
"Great!" She grinned. "Love you. Stay safe."
"Yes ma'am. Love you too."
(BORED?)
Sol's annoying little sister mode has been a c t i v a t e d))
(YOU READ MY TEXT RIGHT)
Sol gulped down the last drops of coffee and licked her lips. "I'm gonna go bother him." She place her mug in the sink to clean later and knocked on Cameron's door. "Cammy-wammy, you awake?" she called.
(YES?)
(Lmao Cam’s not in his room)
There was no response. The room answered. The air answered. Cameron’s pathetically cold bed answered.
(Oh snap. the big reveal)
Okay is he in Luca's room cause if so I swear to god))
(oh damn)
