Jay got up and put his wrapper and stuff in the trash then walked back to where he was sitting to grab his bag.

Kate saw Jay and walked over to him quickly. "Where's Brink?" she asked quietly.

He took out an ear bud and looked at her. "What did you say?"

"Where's Brink?" she repeated. "And Vanessa."
Maria held back, surveying the rest of the place.

"I saw brink walk in. But I haven't seen Vanessa." He replied

"Where is he now?" Kate demanded.

"Don't know. I only saw him walk in. Now don't you have better things to do than talk to me." Jay replied then picked up his bag.

"Yeah, catching Brink. Where'd he go?" Kate pressed.

"I don't know. can i leave now?" He asked getting annoyed.

Kate pressed her lips together tightly before replying "Fine" in a low tone.

"thanks." Jay said sarcastically then pushed past her and walked to the door.

She watched him go, narrowing her eyes.
Maria approached her. "Well?"
"That's Jay. He doesn't know where Brink was, but he saw him come…" Kate trailed off, seeing someone like Brink by the door.

Jay walked out of Wendy's then continued walking down the street.

Brink ducked his head and texted Vanessa to leave without him, he'd find them later if he didn't get caught

Kate motioned for Maria to follow her and she quickly paced over to Brink.

Brink rolled his eyes and texted back quickly

"Hey, Kate! long time no see!" he sprinted for the exit before she could answer, heading for the parking lot

Vanessa saw brink and she got out of the car but not before grabbing a gun from out of the car.

Jay stayed quiet as he walked down the street to his home.

Sora Todoroki was walking down the street, phone in hand. Her dad had just gotten back from a trip to Japan to visit some friends from high school, and she was texting him back after he sent her a message notifying her of his arrival to the airport. 'awesome! 😀 buying groceries rn. anything specific u want for dinner or just whatever' She was still looking down at her phone when she bumped into someone. "Ah!" she exclaimed in surprise, jumping backwards from the same emotion. "Oh! I'm sorry, are you okay?" she asked, offering a hand to help the boy up. She recognized him as Jay, who mostly kept to himself but seemed nice enough. Hey, maybe we can talk or something! If he's nice, maybe we can be friends! "You're Jay, right?" She flashed a smile. "I'm Sora!"

He took her hand and stood up. "Um nice to meet you. And yeah that is my name."

Brink saw Vanessa with her gun and ran towards her "no time for games love, we gotta go now!"

¨Brink you have to go¨ she said with a sad smile.
