After another minute of silence, Barry cleared his throat awkwardly. “So,” he started, setting down his fork and pulling away to face her. “I, uh, have been doing some searching, and I found something that I hope you might like.”

Kasey blinked and furrowed her eyebrows at him slightly, curious about what he might mean. "Really? What is it?"

Barry inhaled deeply, tugging anxiously on the sleeve of his sweater. “It’s an apartment. Do you— would you like to move in with me, Kase?”

Kasey stared at him for a moment, shocked. "I— Move in with you? To our own apartment?" she asked softly before a wide grin spread across her lips. "Barry… I would love that. Yes. Absolutely!"

Barry almost collapsed under the wave of sheer relief. “Oh, thank god,” he said, letting out a breath he didn’t know he’d been holding.

Kasey giggled a little and leaned over to kiss him excitedly. "Where is it? Can we go see it later?"

Barry pulled her into a tight hug, pumped with elation and a freeing happiness. “It’s only a ten minute drive from the college— you know the park with the duck pond?”

"Mmhm… It's near there?" Kasey guessed, pressing kiss after kiss to his cheek as she hugged him back.

“Yeah.” At that moment, he was the happiest man on the planet. He was going to live with the person he loved more than anything else in the world— what more did he need?

Kasey grinned and kissed him gently, holding it for a bit. "Thank you, Barry. This is going to be amazing."

“Thank you,” he answered, grinning like an absolute idiot.

"I'm not the one who invited me to live with him!" Kasey laughed lightly, grinning back at him as her joy danced in her eyes.

“But you said yes.” Barry stood, wrapped his arms around her again, and lifted her up.

"Hey!" Kasey exclaimed as she was lifted, grinning. "Yeah, but only because you asked!"

Barry swung her around in circles, eyes shining. “But still.”

"Barr, c'mon," Kasey chuckled, smiling down at him. "Can we finish eating so we can go look at it?"

“Kasey, it’s almost ten thirty!” I laughed, setting her down. “Tomorrow, love.”

(Wrong POV. Lol. 3rd person?)

Kasey sighed and pouted at him. "Fine… Then let's finish eating so we can got to bed and wake up tomorrow so we can see it."

(Lol I’m spending too much time stalking your other rps 😂)

Barry smiled fondly. “You forget that I’m an insomniac. But I’ll try, for you.”

(XD Lol. I know the feeling.)

"Hm, you'd better. Or else I will make sure you sleep, whatever it takes," Kasey joked, grinning at him again.

Barry roles his eyes playfully. “I’m just happy you’re happy.”

(I totally didn’t even realize it was my turn. I’m so sorry…)

Kasey glanced around as they drove. They were almost to the apartment Barry had told her about, and she was incredibly excited. Her knee wouldn’t stop bouncing as she looked outside, grinning the entire ride.

(Oh no it’s fine, I didn’t realize it was your turn either, I just completely forgot to do anything)

Barry was in a similar state, though he was doing a much better job of disguising it. “Someone’s excited,” he teased, turning onto the designated street.

(Lol. Oof.)

Kasey rolled her eyes and turned to stick her tongue out at him. “Of course I am. We’re going to look at the apartment where I will be living with my favorite person in the world. Who wouldn’t be excited?”

Barry’s face reddened as his grin turned into a ridiculously dorky smile. “I love you, you know that, right?”

“Well, is certainly hope so,” Kasey chuckled teasingly. “Otherwise, it would be very strange for you to have asked me to move in with you.”

Barry stuck his tongue out at her. “Shush, you’re distracting me while I’m trying to park.” After stopping the car, he climbed out, surveying the apartment building before him.

(…I just remembered that Kasey is supposed to have a job…)

Kasey got out of the car and stood beside him. She smiled as she glanced over the building and reached for Barry’s hand.

“This is so amazing, Barr,” she said softly.
