@Natasha
Harper looked at Willow. "Hey. You okay?" She said gently, as if talking to a scared animal.
Harper looked at Willow. "Hey. You okay?" She said gently, as if talking to a scared animal.
Willow nodded, keeping her eyes on the girl's bloodstained face, "Fine. Peachy."
Harper shook her head gently. "I've seen this before. Hallucinations?" She asked knowingly.
Willow drew in a sharp breath, "I wish they were just hallucinations." she reached out and wiped the blood from the girls cheek and drew a thin line of blood across her own face, visible to the real eye. "They're fake, but they're real."
Harper took a sharp breath. "So…….then it's kind of like your eyes can see into two different plains of reality?" She asked, sitting down in front of Willow.
"Not sure." Willow pulled up her sleeves, showing burns and scars, "They affect me. Just me." she sat down, "But sometimes it doesn't. Right now, I'm covered in blood and so are you and everything in this room." Willow pointed at her face, "I'm covered in blood, but you can only see this, right?"
Harper nodded. "How long has it been like this?"
"A long time."
Harper had no idea how to reply. She didn't want to make Willow feel awkward either.
Quinn sat in a chair, dropping different flower petals on the ground. She flicked her wrist and they stopped in midair, rewinding and appearing back into the palm of her hand. Her father's watch was placed next to her carefully, it's ticking the only sound.
(Uh… good morning.)
Cade listened in on Willow and Harper's conversation, a little freaked out.
Chelsea saw this happen before, she was friends with Willow for quite a while. She knew how terrible it was, how twisted and haunted. But Chelsea continued counting coins, as her face became more stern.
She listened to Willow, continuing to rewind when the petal fell. It sounded horrible, but Quinn didn't know if she could do anything for her.
Willow stood up and blinked twice. The blood was gone, except for the line of blood she'd drawn on her own face. "I heard there was a ball. I'm not going in a blouse, am I?"
Cade groaned to himself. Another girl is coming with us…I swear if I have to dance with all of them…
Harper smiled. "You can wear whatever you want Willow."
Chelsea continued counting the coins, as she put the coin of the table, her movements were a little more aggressive.
"Chelsea what's wrong?"
Cade noticed the coins Chelsea had placed on the table. It would be so easy to just…take one…
Willow nodded at Harper and looked around the room, the blood from her face noticeably dripping into the corner of her mouth. She licked the blood away and grinned, dragging herself out of the room.
“What? Oh, nothing.” Chelsea said, smiling. Dang Chelsea, since when were you a liar. She glanced at someone, and continued counting.
(I'm kind of leading Willow towards Alice's path, y'know, going crazy and losing her mind)
(WOAH, WHAT NOOOoOooo)
“Cade, you look like you’re about to steal something.” Chelsea said, she looked at him, “Are you going to steal something?”
(WOAH, WHAT NOOOoOooo)
YESSSSS
The blood was sweet. And she wanted more. More. More. More. What am I thinking? Willow held up her shaking hands and wiped the blood from her face with a napkin. That feeling….what was wrong with her? Shaking her head, Willow gathered up some more flowers that her hair had dropped to the ground. The blood was sweet.
Scarlet stayed silent, knowing she would just ruin everything by speaking.
