I would say drawing is my biggest hobby and possibly my future career path, but I'll be honest 90% of my time spent on Krita isn't actually drawing it's just making brushes to simulate natural art mediums and even then those fail horribly because I've never actually touched a Copic marker in my life yET MY BEST FRIEND HAS AN ENTIRE SET OF THEM AND HER LITTLE SISTER THAT NEVER DRAWS ALSO HAS A SET OF THEM AND EVERYONE I KNOW HAS A SET OF THEM AND I'm just a smol broke artist

Rip me.
I have a whole art set and stuff and my mom is all like wow I'm so proud of you now use this and I say… "I don't use all this stuff."
And it remains untouched.
All I use are pencils. Prisma black markers on a good day.

Well, there are some tools that can technically erase if you're using a good eraser, but the ones I use can't. I just embrace the mistakes like a true failure

Here's an example, the color I used for the lips/blush dripped onto the paper so I threw some flowers there and added another one on the other side and BAM it makes no sense because ART https://www.paigeeworld.com/post/5c241a2405d91e2210e3390d/traditional-abstract-watercolor-flowers-painting-drawing-by-nutelladraws

*actually i'm a big fan of digital art it's just that
I have no tablet
I have no money to buy a tablet
I wouldnt want to pay for an actually good app to use
And it is nice for the feeling of traditional medium on paper, or canvas, and having a physical product that it probably less likely to be stolen😂

Ooo Ella that looks so good!!!
I really enjoy digital but I enjoy drawing on paper too, I've done a bit of watercolour and acrylic painting but im awful at acrylic and I really enjoy watercolour Im just not so great at it but I love penwork and have recently done some realism for some classes, one is of my friend and one is going to be of Johnny cash and I like how it's going

While tablets are still expensive, there are actually a lot of really good free art programs, Krita and Autodesk Sketchbook are my personal favorites. In fact, Krita is known for being extremely close in quality to Photoshop, and IMHO, it’s better than most paid programs such as Paint Tool Sai or ArtRage.

Ooh noice.
I actually have Autodesk on my school iPad ironically enough.
But i should play around with it more…

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I only use a computer so I don't know what programs are available for iPads and such, but I have a mile long list of the free programs I've tried on my computer (with short reviews)

Medibang is decent I guess but I don’t really see it as professional, maybe for coloring in sketches or drawing in cartoon or anime styles but if you try to go for something more realistic it’ll most likely fail you.

I never really got used to medibang.
I used it in this comic club we ran for a few weeks, but I didn't actually use it…

Yeha, I'm still not used to it either, considering the fact that I just recently started doing digital art.

Honestly I have no trouble drawing girls and boys.
Yet I also have no form in my drawings 99.99% of the time.
