Cyrus rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I'm fully aware things might not work out, but we have to try. I don't want to have to kill her or anything like that."

"We are not killing her. I can get her to open up, just give me some time." Uriah was completely against the idea of having to kill a child. Sure she had her problems, but it's probably due to how she grew up. He turned around and started to walk away. "I'm going to look for her a bit longer."
Esmea just stayed on the floor. Eventually sleep took over. Her body tumbled over and she laid there asleep.

Luna followed after Uriah as she tugged at her hood. She didn't think that child could be changed even if she opened up, "I-I'm coming with. I-I don't trust her alone with any of you."

Katya jumped at the thump before she opened the door and saw Esmea on the floor. She looked around trying to see if any of the adults were near before starting to drag Esmea into the shared room.

"Yeah, no… I'm a bit spooked. I'll stick with you too… If there are plans to hurt me…" Cyrus muttered. His bravado was starting to crumble, but he hadn't really expected any different.

"Thanks Luna," Uriah smiled at her. She was definitely more kind now, and he felt closer to her which was nice. "I think I'd be fine on my own, but I won't stop you from coming."
Esmea woke up slightly at her body moving on it's own, but honestly was to tired to deal with it.
(So is there going to be a LunaXUriah thing or are they just going to stay friends?)

(I'm up for it to be a thing.)

"W-well you can't," Luna smiled back before looking to Cyrus who also followed them. She didn't blame him in all honesty, there was now a death threat hanging over him.

Katya managed to get Esmea to her bed. She let out a long sigh before trying to get the girl onto the bed.

"Well, I guess it will be easier to do something with three people if we need to restrain her if needed." He couldn't believe he didn't hear her get up and that he just let her wander around. And right after he said he'd take responsibility over her. The more Esmea's body moved the more she woke up. "What the hell is going on?" She asked sleepily. It was strange to be somewhere else then in the hall where she fell asleep.

Katya looked to Esmea just as she managed to roll the girl onto the bed, "You fell asleep, so I moved you."

"Y-yeah," Luna nodded. She couldn't see Esmea yet, but she couldn't have gotten far right? God why did she leave Esmea alone.

"Oh, I see. Well, thanks, I guess." Esmea was a but rude and stubborn and more, but she wasn't as bad as people thought. A bit heartless, yes, but only when it was needed. Looking around she noticed all the other kids were sleeping. "Why aren't you sleeping like everyone else?"

"Because I couldn't sleep," Katya shrugged as she sat down on the floor. She didn't care, "Why does it matter mean girl?"

"I was just curious, liar accuser." Esmea looked away. This girl was hard to deal with and honestly she didn't care for her much. Why would she help me in the first place? Esmea still just wanted to punch someone or set something on fire, but she held back her urges.

"Hm, well I'm not sure where she could be." Checking every room was the best way to go about looking for her. "Let's just hope she hasn't started trouble."

Katya silently mocked her words before saying out loud, "Well you were lying. The people locked you in there cause you weren't being nice. Not cause you were a prisoner."

Luna nodded and picked up her pace so they could find Esmea faster, "W-we should check the rooms she has already seen. Th-they have a higher chance of being there."

"That's true." Uriah walked back to the bed rooms, those were the rooms where she spent most her time. "I hope we find her soon."

"If people lock you in a room, without your consent, then yes you are a prisoner. And I wouldn't have been mean if they didn't bring me here in the first place. I never asked to be saved, they should've just let me die." It would be easier then having a guild after you and a whole other one hating you. All she wants is to find her siblings, go find a house where no one will find them and live happily.

"S-So do I," Luna muttered looking down at the floor. Then her life could start going back to 'normal'.

"Were you conscious or close to death when they brought you here?" Katya asked her. Something tugged at her head.

"Yeah… I'm starting to feel uncomfortable, not gonna lie," Cyrus murmured.
He realized he was quite on edge, looking around corners and making sure no one else was nearby.

"Cy, calm down. I'm sure Luna would sense her if she were around." Uriah walked a bit slower so he was next to Cyrus. If Esmea was planning something then he rather be the one to get hurt than Cyrus.
"I don't know. I passed out but was bleeding a lot, so both I guess." Esmea was tired of questions. She already told one person her story, she didn't need more people to know about her. "Does it matter? They should have just left me."

"Well then they saved you," Katya crossed her arms and huffed, "So you should be grateful for them."

Luna stuck to the front. She was silent as she pulled her hood back, she felt awkward and naked almost. However it enable her to hear better, and that would be better than having her hood up.

"Well I'm not. I'm leaving, you shouldn't bother with me." She stood and slammed the door behind her. Grateful this, grateful that. Why don't they all just shut up! All she wanted was to scream and that's exactly what she did.
A sound of a girl screaming echoed down the halls and Uriah stopped. "Did you hear that? Which way was the from though?"

"I don't know!" Cyrus gasped, "Let's get on it before more disaster strikes."
He looked to Luna. "Your senses are sharp. Got any clue?"

Luna started sprinting, the echoing scream being located not to far from where the other kids were at. Was it one of the other kids? She hoped not.

Katya watched the girl leave, she would have been grateful if someone saved her life.

Vida jolted awake upon hearing the screams.
"Kat!" she cried, "What happened?"

Cyrus followed Luna as quickly as he could. She was heading for the other kids, and he was starting to become worried. More so than before.

Katya looked to Vida, "Mean girl came in, left, then screamed."

"What the hell…?" Vida murmured, "That's rude…" She crossed her arms over her chest. "Some of us need to rest."

Esmea pulled out her dagger and slammed it into the wall making a huge hole. She walked down the hall dragging the dagger behind her. "I hate this place, I hate Black Claw, I hate everyone and everything." Those words just kept repeating. If she wanted she could probably kill all those kids in their sleep. Esmea was tired but decided it was definitely a bad idea to sleep here.
Uriah ran after Luna and followed her every move. If it was Luna she could definitely find Esmea.

Luna skidded to a halt at the end of the hall before walking towards Esmea. She had her arms crossed across her torso and her ice eyes glared at her, "W-we hate Black Claw. B-but what did you do? W-why was there a scream?"

Katya shrugged, "I don't know Vida."

Cyrus stopped next to Luna. "Yeah, you can't just come in here and wreak havoc, and hurt us! We're here to help you, but that doesn't mean we don't deal consequences for what you do."

"Tell me." Esmea lifted her head death in her eyes. Who have I hurt here, I don't remember injuring anyone here." The look in her eyes even made Uriah a bit on edge. "I've never seen that look on any child." Uriah whispered.

"Hurt means more than pierced skin and shattered bone, Esmea," Cyrus growled, "Remember that…"
He dared not say any more, just to avoid arguing with a child who wanted to make it so she was always right and always won.

Luna looked at Esmea sadly. She muttered, "I-I have." She cleared her throat and spoke louder, "I-Injuries are more than just physical E-esmea."

"Yeah, I don't really care." She turned around and started walking away. "She was done, with everything." Esmea was thinking about just going back to Black Claw and just ending it. "Just leave me alone. Uriah walked after her but made sure to keep his distance.
