I've been using sports bras and athletic tape as a substitute since I also don't own a binder, unfortunately. Are there any better alternatives you've found to work? Cuz this is the best I have right now…

Not that anyone asked, but I was anxious cuz I was getting blood drawn for the first time ever and ye just anxiety.Ugh yeah getting blood drawn always makes me nervous. How did it go, though?
It was okay. It wasn't painful but I was really nervous

Oof. All I can offer are layering sports bras plus wearing an undershirt or using athletic tape to "hold down the fort" so to speak.
I'd give all three of you binders if I could, but yeah I think sports bras and athletic tape are the safest alternatives. I hear that two sports bras, one backwards and one the right way over that works fairly well, but I don't actually know if it does.

I had to get my blood drawn so I could be cleared for a surgery in about two weeks

I get my blood drawn a lot because I've had some thyroid issues before and stuff like that. I actually mind it less than getting shots.
