Silver slammed into the door, shoving it open so hard it crashed against the wall.
"Guys–" she panted, nearly out of breath, interrupting Ben. "Guys, they almost got me. Back on 38th street." she leaned over on her knees, her giant white-grey wings, arching above her, feathers ruffled. "They were tracking me here and when I caught onto them they tried to catch me."
Ben pulls put his gun, pointing it at Silver. His eyes are wide and he glares. Violet steps forward, quickly processing what the creature stated.
"Do you think they followed you?"
She jogs to Silvers side.
(I was imagining they'd all have sort of different aspects of their element. Not ALL the air peoples have wings, though obviously that would totally fit. Some water people might breathe water, others might control it. I think that would be cooler than everyone having the same version of the elements.)
(like water would have gills and air would have wings? What about the others?)
Dash stands, ducking his head, and Hush bristles. "How far behind were they?"
(They don't have to, but water could breathe underwater and swim better and fire could come with nasty temper issues and constantly being too hot and wanting more fresh air (They work better outside because of all the oxygen), air can have wings or telekenisis, earth can have healing powers and they can be ten times more understanding and sense emotion better. Ice could be constantly cold and… Idk I'll have to think bout ice. Basically, you can pick whatever to match your element.)
Silver glanced up and frowned, seeing Ben's gun. "Dude," she panted. "Chill out. I wouldn't have come here and warned y'all if I meant to kill y'all." she finally caught her breath enough to walk to a chair and collapse into it. "It was a couple blocks back, and they didn't actually make contact with me. Once I saw them and they knew I had seen them, they tried to advance but I just flew away. Kept low." she added hastily. "Don't worry, it was bad enough being out on the streets where anyone could see me. I didn't fly more than a couple feet off the ground, just enough to get away. They shouldn't have followed. But you never know. They have spies everywhere."
Ben slowly lowers the gun, still glaring.
Cage stands and slings his jacket over his shoulder.
"Iiiieeeaaaa. We should go probably then?"
(I feel like that would be kind of cliche though :P Let's leave it alone for now)
Dash turns to face the door, just in case. Hush shifts, glancing around. "Then we should go soon. Somewhere else. They may not know exactly where you went, but they'll check the area."
(lol 45 seconds too late)

Violet nods in Hush's direction. Ben shoves his gun back into it's holster and takes Violets hand.
"There's a back door we can leave out of."
Violet motions for the others to follow.
"It's not far to my home. We can lay low there for now."
(Lay low for now as in like wait for the bad guys to stop searching.)
Silver rose from her chair, ready to go. "Does anyone have a jacket or something that we can, like, try to cover my wings with? Since they're white it's super easy to see them, even at night."
Cage skips over to Silver and drapes his jacket over her wings before smiling.
"There!"

Dash trails Hush to the back, out the door, and into the icy air. "III'm dreaminggg of a whiiite Christmas…" he hums quietly, even though it's technically not Christmas anymore.
Cage picks up the tune too and walks with a skip in his step. Violet leads them down a street, down an alley, and to a small blue house on the edge of town. She opens the door and let's them in as snow starts to drift down from the sky.
Ben glares at Cage, who's humming has turned into singing.
Silver smiled at Cage and patted his head, then adjusted the jacket to cover as much of her wings as possible. Holding the sleeves like ties with her hands, she followed the rest out into the night. By the time they reached Violet's house, the bottom half of her wings that were peeking out from under the jacket were dusted with snow and it took almost more self control than she had to not shake them. Once inside the safety of the house, she pulled the jacket away and turned to Violet. "Where's your bathroom? I don't want to shake all this snow off on your carpet."
Violet smiles and points down a small hallway.
"First door on the left, love."
Silver nodded and headed into the bathroom. Without bothering to close the door, she stepped into the shower, turned so her wings faced the wall, and shook and flustered them violently, sending a cloud of snowflakes all over the bathtub.
Violet hangs up her coat on a small rack by the door and takes her muddy shoes off. Her living room is small, but spacious and there's a simple island counter between it and the kitchens white tile floor. To the left is the small hallway Silver left down, and down it is three doors. On the right is another small hallway, again with three doors.
She sighs, smiling and taking Ben's coat from him.
"Make yourselves at home."

(You didn't miss much. There's a lady with wings now and they are hiding in Violets small house because there are people looking for Silver (the girl with wings) outside.)(:))

Finn had followed the others. Poppy was in her arms and when she heard singing she sang along. when they got to the house finn put poppy down And grabbed his notebook and pen from his bag. he opened to a new page and started to jot stuff down.
Cage sits crosslegged by the couch, swaying back and forth and quietly singing Christmas songs.
Ben glares at Dash behind a few curls that escaped his pony tail.
You brought these terrible songs upon us.
Violet dusts off her pencil skirt and starts to cook up something in the kitchen.
"While you guys are here, are you hungry?"
Dash looks guilty and sits down to look shorter. Hush looks at a chair but turns to lean against a wall instead. Her mouth curls upward and she joins in with Cage, trying to look innocent.
Ben huffs under his breath and leans up against the wall.
Violet puts on some coffee and a kettle for tea and she sets some cookies from her small table unto the counter island so the kids can have them. She turns on the lights and sits on the couch, patting for Ben to come set next to her. He glares at Hush as he joins Violet on the couch.
Cage smiles over at Hush, still quietly singing.

Silver came out of the bathroom, one wing over her shoulder as she preened her feathers into place. "Did someone say food? I will always take food. I'm perpetually starving."
“Do you have pop tarts?” Poppy asked practically jumping in place. Finn kept her from running into the kitchen. “Sorry it’s impossible for her to stay still for longer than a minute.” Finn gave the girl a slightly nervous smile.
