Smiling, Julie picked up the fork and knife and cut the pancakes, loading up a fork for Zack.

Graci shut her eyes and sighed softly. Whatever. I’ll just go back up to the other Gods. She opened her eyes when the elevator doors opened and she stepped out, making a turn for her room. She was greeted by a housemaid, who she dismissed for the night.

(Thank you Emi. The subtle nudge is adorbs. :P )

Jericho continued down the street, hands in his pockets, head in the clouds as he thought. Regret was beginning to pool in the pit of his stomach. Should he have gone after her? Should he have just had a single night with a Goddess, or given her his life? Was he ready for that kind of commitment? His head spun. "What the hell do I do?" He wanted M's advice, but figured he would be with Alison and not want to be bothered. Was this even something he should report to M and Neo? That a damn Goddess was strolling around looking to ensnare eligible bachelors?
He sighed, turning down the next street. Might as well tell him.

(Alright so things are gonna get kinda complicated since Autumn and I are forward in time. And since Jericho is going to see M, let’s just say Alison is asleep. Deal, Autumn?)

Deleted user

(grand! we'll just pretend this all happened on the same night as whatever M was doing.)

Deleted user

(Kkkkkk so just a tiny skip. Let me get home and I’ll type out my response.)

(So I’m just gonna fault to when Jericho makes it to M’s home if that’s alright!)

By the time Jericho had arrived at the home of M and Alison, the moon had risen and cast shadows down upon the rather chilly ground of the porch. The shadow of the large home seemed to loom ominously overhead thanks to the shadows, yet the stars twinkled their support for poor Jericho as he stepped close to the door.

Jericho paced on the porch of M's home, debating between disturbing his boss or just turning around and going back home to take an incredibly cold shower. He sighed, pausing in front of the door again. Placing on hand on his hip, he knocked.

M had been making his way to the restroom when he heard a knock at the door. He sighed softly when his ears picked up faint traces of another person’s thoughts, other than Alison’s. He abandoned the bathroom temporarily and plodded down the steps to answer it. He pulled it open, yawning lightly.
β€œWhat?” He answered unceremoniously.

"OH! Shit–Boss. Hey– I…um. Huh." Jericho scratched the back of his head, looking everywhere but M. "I wasn't expecting you to be awake."

Deleted user

M gave Jericho an irritated look. β€œThen why the hell did you come here? To talk to Alison?” His second question sounded sharp and suspicious.

Deleted user

Oh fuck. "No! No. Nonono. I just–" He looked like he was going to have an aneurysm. Jericho sighed, slumping. "I think–No. I know I rejected a Goddess tonight."

M ran a hand through his hair, which stopped dead at the back of his head. It kinda stayed there like that for a bit until he set it down by his side.
β€œNo, no no. This must be a dream. Goodnight.” He went to go shut the door on Jericho and his bad decisions.

"Yea… Yea you're right, Boss. Just a dream. Bye!" Jericho turned abruptly, setting off down the porch with his head down, only to return to the door a moment later. "Actually…no. The GODS are walking around ISLA, M!" He shouted through the door.

Deleted user

β€œOkay, yea, that’s nice Jericho,” M’s faint voice dismissed through the door, waving his hand though the other man couldn’t see it.
β€œHave a good, pathetic night, Jericho.”

Jericho stared at the door for a moment longer, realizing he sounded insane. He rubbed his hands over his face as he turned away. "Yea. Goodnight Boss." He muttered and started back to his apartment. Well…great. My boss thinks I'm a raving lunatic now.

M sighed deeply and ripped open the door again with a flourish. He stepped outside, glaring after Jericho.
β€œCome back, Jericho,” He half-shouted half-growled as to not wake up his wife.

Jericho turned at M's voice, surprised as hell that he actually came back out. He darted up the steps already half way through his explanation. "–I swear M, I was just trying to take a nice lady out for a drink and then she turned out to be a Goddess. WHY. I don't know. I'm just an elemental and now I'm pretty damn sure I'm going to die. Oh man this is–" He froze in M's living room.

(*Elementalist bro bro)

M had trailed after him, looking exhausted and woebegone. β€œShe was a Goddess. Right. Okay. They do that. Insanity and Death walk around all the time, why can’t she?” He glanced at Jericho. β€œYou know the Gods walk around literally all the time. They’re up in the Palace all the time.”
