(You guys are making me hungry and I just woke up. I have no energy to go to the kitchen)

"Careful, sestra," Phoenix said, turning to Addi for a moment and helping her straighten out her wings, "Do you remember what do do when you're approaching a zmeya?"

Addison sighed. "It's all a blur. I remember some details, but not everything. But I do remember that they love being pet."

(Mornin'!)
"They do," Phoenix nodded, "Now just watch me, then we'll go find (Addi's zmeyas name)."
She slowly approached the purple-eyed zmeya before them, eyes wide and hand held straight out.
"Pozhaluysta, pomnite menya, staryy drug," She murmured as the giant snake grew closer tongue flicking around Phoenix's hand.
What if Iskra didn't remember her? Stars, that would break her heart.

Suddenly, the zmeya's pupils dilated and it darted forward,
wrapping itself around Phoenix like a giant silver coil.

"Uhhh… Is that supposed to happen?" Jay put a hand over his rifle just in case

Addison nodded. "Yeah. Your rifle is making her nervous Jay."

"What do I do?!" he loudly whispered

Addison gave a quiet chuckle. "Put your rifle on the ground slowly and kick it away. Then put your hand out like this." She held her palm out in front of her so that the zmeya could see she meant no harm.

Within Iskra's coils, Phoenix looked up and smiled, tears in her eyes.
"Hello, Iskra," she said as the zmeya looked down at her, slowly blinking. "I've missed you."
Missed too, you I, Iskra transmitted to her, Have been, you where?
"A long way from home," she murmured, stroking Iskra's head. "You remember my sister, Addi, right? That's her out there with our friend, Jay."
Iskra uncoiled herself and looked down at Addi and nodded in greeting. Then she looked at Jay and her pupils narrowed.

Addison smiled. "Hi Iskra. He won't hurt you, I promise."

"Uhh…Nice snakey…Just gonna…" He reached around and took the rifle off his back, setting it on the ground and moving it away. He put his hands up

Is him, inside what? Iskra transmitted to all of them with a hiss.
She got closer to Jay, blocking him from the others. Her eyes were wide and her pupils were slits.

Hi, hello, I'm not mean I promise. Got rid of the rifle see? Jay transmitted with a nervous smile

Iskra calm down. He………well it's a long story. Addison transmitted back.

IS WHAT, INSIDE YOU?? Iskra transmitted again, getting even closer.

"Iskra!" Phoenix intervened, "Calm down, Jay is a friend. He is good."
She turned to Jay, "You need to explain Cyprus to her, let her know she can trust you."

His name is Cyprus we're kinda stuck together I'm sorry! Jay moved back a little, getting a little scared of the giant snake

"Jay stay calm! She can smell your fear." Addison stressed.

"Okay, staying calm, that's a thing I can do," he said, trying to take a few deep breaths. Hi Iskra. I um. I kinda have a ghost named Cyprus attached to me. We're kinda stuck together and I can't do anything about it.

I wonder where Isaliana is right now………. Addison thought as she watched Iskra and Jay.
