“I guess we’ll find out,” he murmured, wiping his hands off on a napkin.

“Well… Should we just go back to cuddling, then?” Kasey wondered as she snuggled into him.

"Definitely," he agreed quickly, setting aside his Tupperware and pulling her closer.

Kasey turned so that she could wrap her arms around him and moved into his lap. Hey, it was comfortable! She liked being there…

Barry gave a quiet chuckle, slipping his arms around his girlfriend. "I'm glad you like sitting there so much."

Kasey blushed slightly and shrugged. “You’re comfortable, what can I say?” she murmured, a little flustered.

Smiling, Barry leaned forward to press a gentle kiss to her lips. "Thanks, sweetheart. I'm guessing you'll be occupying that space a lot from now on?"

“Possibly,” Kasey sighed as she leaned into him more. “C’mon, back to cuddles…”

"Right, yeah." Barry held her to his chest, beginning to run his fingers through her hair.

Kasey closed her eyes with a contented hum and rested her chin on his shoulder. “You’re an amazing boyfriend, you know?” she murmured softly, nuzzling the spot below his ear.

He felt a rush of gratitude and affection go through him. "Thanks, Kase, you have no idea how much that means to me. You're the best girlfriend I could ever ask for."

Kasey smiled and hugged him slightly tighter. “Well, I’m glad you think so. I wouldn’t be happy with anyone except you, and I know it.”

Barry pulled back just enough to press a loving kiss to her cheek. "Thank you, Kase. I love you."

“I love you more,” Kasey said softly. She pulled back and pressed a slightly-longer-than-necessary kiss to his lips before resting her head on his shoulder again.

"Not possible…" he murmured into her ear, beginning to rub slow circles into her back.

Kasey hummed and relaxed into him further. Back rubs were one of her favorite things…

“Too bad… It is,” she argued softly.

Slowly, he worked the tension out of her shoulder blades, humming in contentment. “Nah…”

"Mm… All right, fine…" Kasey hummed quietly, thoroughly enjoying this.

If he really wanted something, there were probably two things he could do to get it: either kiss her breathless or just rub her back.

His hands traveling slowly down her back but remaining strictly within the parameters they’d set, Barry gently nudged her head up from his shoulder.

Kasey looked up at him and raised her eyebrows slightly. "Yes?" she asked softly.

Without pausing his hand movements, Barry leaned in to give her a slow, tender kiss. “Nothing— I just really wanted to do that.”

“Oh…” Kasey breathed, a smile slowly working its way to her lips. She moved her hands to cup his cheeks gently and kissed him back, then pulled away to nudge her nose up against his.

He laughed softly, kissing her again. The heels of his hands continued to rub into her back, loosening muscles.

Kasey’s giggle turned into a hum as he rubbed at a particularly tight spot on her back. “Do you have much practice as a masseuse?” she wondered teasingly.

“No,” he laughed, “Am I doing well?”

“Mmhm. Very,” Kasey said, smiling at him softly. “This is nice.”

He kissed her a third time, tangling his fingers into her hair.

“Barr…” Kasey sighed against his lips as she kissed him back. “I love you…”

Barry grinned mischievously into the kiss. "Show me how much," he dared, tone light and teasing.

Kasey pulled back to look at him for a moment before she closed her eyes. She concentrated for a moment, trying to bring a certain picture back to her memory. When she had, she smiled, her eyes still closed.

I love you this much… she transmitted to him before an image of Earth passed through her mind. It spun slowly, then zoomed in so they could see city after city pass by.
