"Sure" said Frost waving to her mom before leading the way into the woods.

Ryker smiled and walked alongside Frost, glancing over at her every so often as they walked.

Frost led the way over to a stream, and sat down next to it rolling over on her tummy to stare at the water.

"So.." Ryker said, laying on his back next to Frost, glancing over at her. "How was life here while we were missing?"

"Pretty good," said Frost "I mean its great to be back home! But I had thought that…." she trailed off.

"…we were dead?" He finished, putting his hands behind his head and looking up at the Skye.

"No…" She said rolling over, "I had thought that maybe He was gone by now…."

"Who is He?" He asked, still looking at the sky.

"Shadowfang" she answered quietly

Ryker nodded softly "Oh," He said, looking over at Frost "Who's shadowfang?"

"Technically he's one of my uncles by blood. He happens to be my mom's twin brother…." she said "But something happened to them and Alex when they were kids and they got separated. And sometime in that time period Arthur, -that's his real name- ended up under the control of an evil spirit, who is doubly under the control of the Shadow Entity." she explained sadly.

"Oh…do we need to go save him?" He asked, sitting up and scooting closer to Frost.

"I don't think we can…" said Frost… "I mean.. Uncle Alex has been trying for years…"

Ryker sighed "Is there anything I can do to help you?" he asked.

"I don't think so," she sighed, "I'm pretty sure that problem is out of our hands."

"Oh.." He said softly, picking at a clump of grass and going silent.

"But anyway I guess you'd like to go see your brother and sister again right?" she asked

"Yeah," He nodded and looked over at her, sighing sadly "I guess that would mean that this would be the last time I would see you, now that you're with your family and all.."

"Actually last I checked we still have to get that Iceblaze Pegasus back to it's home!" said frost "which happens to be in your world!!"

"That's right!" Ryker said, smiling and nodding, "The Pegasus," He looked at the sky and chuckled "Well..it gives us a little more time together I guess.."

"Yup!" said Frost, "I just have to wait until things settle down and until my mom approves."

"Ok, do you want to go figure that out right now?" He asked, getting ready to stand up.

"Sure!" said Frost getting to her feet, letting her long hair fall loosely over her shoulders. "let's go!'"

Ryker was tempted to take her hand as he stood up and started walking, but he decided against it. He smiled and ran a hand over his hair, feeling that it was growing in slightly.

Frost led Ryker back to the hollow, grinning all the way, Her father gave her a weird look when he saw her smile, but shrugged it off, but the wolf did speak to Ryker, "I know you two are good friends.. And I trust you, But I wish you luck dealing with her mother" said the Blizzaron with a grin.

"Any advice for dealing with her?" He asked politely, smiling as he glanced at Frost.

"Wing it" said Avalanche. "And dont argue when she sets her mind on something."

Ryker nodded "Alright," He chuckled "I'll try me best,"He turned to Frost and smiled "Are you ready?"

"Yup!" Said Frost waving as her mom padded towards them and shifted to stand next to Ryker. Her gaze was intense as she studied him, looking him up and down.

Ryker smiled and nodded at Frost's mom "Hi Ma'am," He said politely, smiling and glancing at Frost.
