I absolutely hate our language program because here they only offer Spanish and that's it, and we always have to find a new Spanish Teacher every year or so.
This also led to me being taught Mexican Spanish and my brother being taught Spain Spanish since we're in different years. Everything is the same except for the pronunciation and it fucks us over whenever we try to speak to each other in Spanish.
Eesh yeah, people underestimate how different Mexican Spanish and Spain Spanish sound. And learning foreign languages is a good thing, but schools usually do it completely wrong. I took two years of French and I still know absolutely nothing.

In my L.A class, we were analyzing a poem… A very dark poem… And I basically analyzed the shit out of it, saying that humans were deceitful and all that jazz.
Oh nice! What was the poem about? Also, nice use of "all that jazz."
We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,—
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.
Why should the world be over-wise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.
We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
We wear the mask!
My teacher just stood up and facepalmed then promptly sat back down and went back to typing.

He was working on a coding game and figured out what had been done wrong and it was the simplest thing.

Can I use this to audition for a school play,please?
Uh… I didn't write it but sure…
I really like the poem.
