"Over what? Vines?" Midnight had never tried stale cake.

"Definitely." he decided.

"Vines are hilarious!", Midnight laughed.

Eris kept her mouth firmly shut against the rim of her cup.

"Oh yes they are." Dominic said simply. "But cake is better."

"Even when it's stale?", Midnight asked, surprised.

"If it's good cake." he replied.
