Rogin woke shortly after sunrise. He took a moment to remember where he was and why. The realization hit him like a spear. Fitzlan. He got up and stilled his breathing. Fitzlan was his ally. A world without his greatest friend would be grim indeed. Please. he prayed, Please let me find him.
He began to go through all the things in his pack to calm himself down. Akmenos was still asleep. It would hardly do to wake his host, so Rogin sat still and prepared for the day to start.
Fea had awoken before the sun had fully risen. Her worry kept her from sleeping much these past months, she was utterly exhausted, but her bath in the river had woken her up fully. She shook out her wet hair, using a simple spell to dry it fully. She wondered how her new companions fared.
Akmenos had finally awoken, yawning as he sat up and stretched. He rubbed at his eyes, still tired but figuring that he needed to get up at some point
"Good day and good morrow sir." said Rogin politely.
"Good morning indeed," Akmenos responded warmly, confused briefly as to why there was a stranger in his room before remembering the night before. He was a little slow to wake in the morning, so it wasn't surprising he was a little confused at first
"Shall we breakfast first, or find Fea?"
"Well, we could have breakfast altogether, if you like," Akmenos said with a small smile
Rogin pulled on a hooded cloak. "Let us find Fea then."
Akmenos nodded, pulling on his clothes to go out before grabbing his shamisen and slinging it across his body
Rogin pulled on his pack and together they walked out the door.
Fea was just outside the tavern, sitting up in a tree, gazing at the sky. She enjoyed the morning, when the world was fresh and free of the days darkness. It reminded her of her sister. She sighed.
Approaching steps had her looking down at her new companions. They hadn't noticed her yet and were talking among themselves.
"Shall we try the forest first?" asked Rogin, "Or do you believe she will be at our meeting spot of last night?"
"We should check the tavern first," Akmenos answered. "She may believe she is to meet us there."
"A good idea." he replied. And they headed off to the tavern.
Fea watched the men walk by underneath her, not bothering to look up. She sighed, swinging down from the branch. Pulling her long hair over a shoulder, she followed them.
They headed inside the place. It was full of creatures like the day before. But no Fea.
((awwww that sounded so sad :( ))
