((Hey guys!! Sorry I’ve been semi absent- I’m actually on vacation with my family, so I’m only able to get on for a few minutes here and there, but I’ll be on for a little while now!! If you guys are ready to start, then I say let’s do it ^^))

Alrighty! I’ll write up an opening scene then- we’re still going with the attack on the castle prompt I believe-

Lydian quickly stalked through the castle, trying to get back to her room as fast as possible. An attack had just been issued on the castle, and if anyone knew part of it had to deal with her actions… she’d be done. Her secret of being the Kings assassin would be out. She stuck to the shadows as others rushed past to help the wounded and clean up. She noticed then that blood stained the bottom of her skirts, so she picked up her pace, hoping no one would bother her.

Liam ran through the dark halls of the castle, his shirt flapping in the wind. He grabbed his armour and sword before rushing back out on the midst of a mini battle. He saw a lady and her family being forced back by a few enemy soldiers on his left and went to go help them but just as he took a step, he saw another enemy creeping up behind a soldier. Torn between the two scenarios, he rushed towards his friend and knocked the sword out of the enemies hand, alerting his friend to watch his back. He then ran I'm the opposite direction to save the small family from the clutches of the enemy

She continued to make her way through the halls, then heard the screaming of some of the victims. She paused, turning toward the direction of the battle. She couldn’t just leave them to fend for themselves, ecspecially after her role in this mess. Seeing a servant run by, she shouted at them, “You! Give me your cloak! Please..” The servant paused nervously, then handed over their cloak, bowed slightly, then rushed away. Lydian yanked the cloak over her, hiding her face, then rushed back to the battlefield of a sort, pulling her dagger out of her boot.

Liam rushed towards the soldiers just as they raised their swords over their heads. He lifted his sword and it clanged against theirs. He stood protectively infront of them "thank you Lord Alexander!" They cried. Liam nodded his head "get to a safe place." He said simply and faced the intruders. "You come onto our kingdom and attack our innocent people without warning?" He growled out, walking closer and closer to the soldiers

Jack stood in front of one of the horses in its stall as it reared and neyed in panic. "Woah boy!" Jack said to the horse, gently holding the horses snout as his front legs came back to the ground. This was one of the newer horses in training who was paniced due to the ongoing fight. Most of the horses were gone from the stables in use by soilders fighting in the battle that took place so Jack cared for the remaining horses. He stroked the snout of the panicked horse until eventually he calmed down.
