Sienne nodded, "Ok. I see your hands are better," she smiled.
Sienne nodded, "Ok. I see your hands are better," she smiled.
"Oh, yeah. Thanks for helping me." Lewis was afraid he was blushing. That wasn't exactly his favorite kind of attention to get. He changed the subject. "I'll see if I can convince my team to select you."
"Thanks, Lewis," Sienne signed, "but I don't know if they'll want a deaf girl on their team," she shrugged.
"Sure they will," Lewis replied, "They probably would rather have you than me any day."
Siren was still seeing more and more people staring at her with more and more pity. She looked at everyone else who was staring at her so she walked away slowly.
(If I remember correctly, team selection is done by cabins, yes?)
Sienne shrugged, "Maybe, but either way, let's both have fun today," Sienne smiled at Lewis.
(If I remember correctly, team selection is done by cabins, yes?)
(Yeah)
Siren saw they where coming with her witch made her uncomfortable so she ran and hid in a bush until they passed.
"Right. I just don't want anyone to get hurt before the quest. That's my only concern. That, and that the Athena cabin ends up on the same team as I do." Lewis signed back to her.
Sienne laughed, "Don't we all want the Athena kids on our team?" she joked.
Siren saw them pass so she went back to breakfast and went over to Sienne and Lewis and said,"Hey guys, why is everyone else so excited?"
"Well, I more meant that I don't want them on my team. When they are, everyone refuses to believe that it's possible that I'm an excellent strategist. You can have them if you want," Lewis joked back.
Lewis then turned to Siren and said, "We're playing capture the flag!"
"True, well, if we are on the same team, let's hope the Athena Cabin is on the other team!" Sienne smiled.
Siren looked at herself and said,"Oh, really, Today?"
"Yeah, I'd almost forgotten. We all need to be careful, though. We're leaving for that quest soon, and new injuries won't do us any good," Lewis warned. He looked to Siren, then to Sienne.
"Mabey I should pass, no one wants me." Siren said sad.
"They pick by cabins, Siren. There's some role for you out there. No one wants me either, but I get taken with the whole Hermes cabin, and they usually end up using me as a distraction," Lewis explained.
"Look. At. ME! I don't think I'll make it through." Siren pointed at her bandages and she sat down crying a little.
"If you would rather sit out, I'm sure Chiron will understand. Maybe you can help tend to the wounded or something," Lewis told Siren, trying to be reassuring, but very uncertain that he was doing a good job.
"Well…. I don't know how to um…
tend people. I think Chiron might not let me be in Capture the Flag because of this." Siren said showing even more of her wounds.
(I feel like its only us three)
(Yeah, right now it is.)
"Sit out then. Go ask one of the Apollo kids to get you some more nectar and ambrosia, and you'll heal up faster." Lewis suggested, "Capture the flag isn't a requirement, you know."
"Well… I've never been able to play Capture the Flag and now I think Chiron will never let me." Siren started crying harder.
"Sure he will. Anyone can play, and as you get better with weapons and such, there won't be a problem." Lewis tapped his foot nervously. He didn't want to push her.
"Well, in that case might as well try. I mean it looks fun, as long as no one goes easy on me." Siren said wanting pizza.
"Yeah, of course it's fun. A little dangerous, but of course we have rules against seriously injuring or killing people, so you should be safe," Lewis added. He was relieved, but also wanted to make sure Siren stayed safe.
"Oh, good!" She said still staring into the sunset.
"So.. got any.. pizza? I'm hungry." Siren said her tummy growling.
