Kasey laughed lightly and grinned at him. “Rawr.”
Kasey laughed lightly and grinned at him. “Rawr.”
Barry gave a playful roll of his eyes, opening his arms to her. “C’mere, fierce one.”
“I’ve gotta be fierce to save the day,” Kasey joked as she swam into his arms, wrapping her own around his neck. She blushed a little at the amount of skin touching between them.
Barry pressed a light kiss to her lips, doing his best to ignore how close they both were. “I have no doubt about it, love.”
“Well, good,” Kasey chuckled softly before reconnecting their lips.
It felt nice, kissing her like this. Like they were more connected. Together, in a physical sense. He kept the contact gentle, not wanting to scare her off.
It was… different, having so much contact. She didn’t mind it, actually, but it was just new. Something she had no experience in, like most everything they did together.
“Is this okay?” Barry murmured into her mouth, keeping his arms loose around her body. His feet found a rock, used it to balance them both.
Kasey hummed in thought for a moment, not breaking their kiss. “Yeah… Yeah, I like this,” she said slowly. “It’s nice…”
He smiled, tugging her slightly closer as if to say ‘I’m glad.’
After a while, Kasey pulled back and nudged her nose against his lovingly. She smiled, her eyes still closed from the kiss.
Letting out a soft chuckle, Barry nudged her back, eyelids slowly drifting open. He took his time, letting the gentle rocking of the waves shift them back and forth.
“So… Should we swim some more? Or do you think we should head back?” Kasey wondered softly, blinking her eyes open and looking up at him.
"It's up to you," he hummed softly, "I don't mind either."
Kasey sighed and glanced around. The sun was starting to hang lower in the sky, so it might be a good idea to head back.
“We should probably start walking back. It’ll be getting dark soon,” she stated, turning her attention back to her boyfriend.
"I guess, yeah," he agreed, carefully lifting her off of him. "This was fun, yeah?"
“Yeah. I think this trip is going to go very well for us,” Kasey said with a grin as she started to make her way back to shore.
“I cannot agree more.” He flashed a grin, pulling himself out of the water and standing.
As she got out of the water, she remembered that she was just wearing her undergarments and blushed again. She ignored it, though, and continued on her way to her clothes.
Barry turned quickly away the moment he glimpsed her, a vivid shade of red colouring his cheeks. “Erm… anything to dry ourselves with?”
(Poor Barry. Lol. Kasey’s, like, pretending she’s totally fine with the amount of skin they’re both showing, while he’s all flustered.)
“Oh… Um. No, not really,” Kasey realized, chewing on her lip as she wrapped her arms around herself. “That’s… Huh.”
(XD, this is so fun to write)
“Ah.” Barry paused, turning around. “Do we just…. get dressed like this?”
Kasey picked up her clothes, nodding slowly. "I suppose that what we'll have to do," she mused softly as she tried to pull her pants away from her shirt.
“Yeah…” Barry trailed off and attempted to shake himself like a wet dog.
Kasey saw him shaking himself out of the corner of her eye an chuckled at the sight. He was funny sometimes…
After finally managing to get her clothes apart, she set them down so she could squeeze her hair out quickly. Picking her pants up, she pulled them on, having a little difficulty due to her wet legs. Why did pants have to be so hard to put in when your legs were still wet?
Barry had been wearing a muscle shirt beneath his layers, in case it got too warm, and he used that to wipe at his chest and legs until they were mostly dry. His hair, he shook out, and when he was mostly satisfied, he moved to slip on his pants.
Kasey’s shirt was much easier to get back on, and she was finally finished getting dressed a few moments later. When she was done, she glanced over at Barry, then away again when she saw that he wasn’t finished. This whole situation was pretty ridiculous to her, if she was being honest.
Barry tugged down his shirt, finally finished, but didn't turn around yet. "Can I look?" he called to Kasey. "Or are you not done dressing yet?"
"No, you're good. I'm done," Kasey answered, looking through the trees. "Are you done, too, then?"
"Yup." Barry came up behind her, being down to rest his chin on her shoulder. "Are we ready to go back?"
