Dani nodded. "Okay Josh. Come on I'll race you Zander—on second thought that might not be such a good idea."

Zander laughed,"Yeah, if I lose track of you out here, I'd never find my way back to TGR."

Dani laughed. "Okay. I won't run." She started walking towards the park. Pieces. Puzzle pieces? Pieces of a riddle? What kind of pieces?

Josh laughed. "And I'd obviously beat you. I know these streets like the back of my hand." He smirked.

"And I can fly." Dani teased. "But you would probably beat us, you're right."

Zander smiled." You guys both have me beat, the closest thing I have to a way back is Kata, and she might lead me around for a while."

Josh giggled. "So, do you have any powers of your own…uh…Zander? And how did you meet Dani?" Josh asked as he walked, a friendly smile on his face, forgetting the awkwardness of the past few minutes.

Ace stared at Macha, smiling, until a doctor opened the door and cleared his throat.
"Is the guardian of Ace last name unknown, present?"
"Am I not old enough to be my own guardian?" Ace grumbled.

Dani suddenly wiped the smile off her face, a pretty guilty expression replacing it. "Weeeelllllllllll…………………"

"Yeah, but my powers are kind of jack of all trade and master of none, more than anything else. And surprisingly, I met Dani through the RAC." Zander replied.

"Yeah. I actually kind of……..might have…………..well almost killed him."

" Almost killed me? I may have been outnumbered, but I think you forgot about Kata, and this." Zander said pulling Glimmer out of its sheath, and disappearing, before resheathing it, and reappearing.

Dani laughed. "You're just mad that I almost killed you."

"Okay, maybe you're right…" Zander replied disbelievingly, his hands up in mock surrender.

Dani laughed. "Hey I had to learn how to fight the hard way. Maybe not the way you did, but do you know how hard it was to walk home from school safely when you have giant purple wings sticking out of your back?"

"No, but have you ever tangled with Kata?" Zander asked, laughing."Spoiler alert, she fights dirty."

"Yeah I know. And by the way, this might not be the best time to bring it up, but you were drunk last night, weren't you?"

Zander laughed." Me? no. Kata? Maybe."

"But then doesn't that mean that you were drunk to?"

"Uhhhh, yes." Zander replied hesitantly.

Dani nodded. "Yeah. That's what I thought."

Zander looked at Josh and gave him a 'help me' look.

Josh instead raised his eyebrow at Zander. Something told him that Zander wasn't old enough to legally drink yet. "Uhhh, I don't know who this Kata is…but I'm pretty sure that Dani could kick your butt–and I'm not just saying it because I'm contractually obliged to as her best friend–because I am, but it's true." Josh grinned; the kind of grin that dissuaded anyone from getting mad at him for long.

Dani laughed.

Zander sighed, knowing he was defeated."Okay, but just so you know Kata is the cat who's been stalking us." He motioned to Kata, who had fallen behind them.

Josh's face lit up. "Cat!? I frickn' love cats." He turned around and looked for Kata. Spotting her, his eyes lit up even more. "Duuuude, you have an awesome cat. Can I pet it–er, will it let me pet it?" Josh's eyes looked–ironically, almost like a begging puppies, and he rocked back and forth on his feet, completely unaware of it, in an adorable manner.
