"Thanks, it's called the 'I don't give a fuck but I'm still hot' look," Abaddon hummed, grinning sleepily as he floated after Grayson
"Thanks, it's called the 'I don't give a fuck but I'm still hot' look," Abaddon hummed, grinning sleepily as he floated after Grayson
"Seems like you do that everyday.." Grayson said quietly, walking out onto the busy street. "Can other people see you?" He asked curiously, looking over at Abaddon.
"Nope. I'm in your head, remember?" Abaddon answered, yawning before stretching dramatically
“But you weren’t in my head when I met you in the graveyard.” Grayson replied, walking happily down the street.
"That's because I was a hostless spirit. Now that I have a host, you're the only one that can see me…at least, the only human," Abaddon explained
“So I’m special.” Grayson laughed a little.
"Mm, something like that," Abaddon chuckled
“I am very special. You should be grateful.” Grayson said happily.
"Yeah, sure," Abaddon said, rolling his eyes before idly running a hand through Grayson's hair
Grayson looked up at him curiously. “Are you this nice to other people?”
"Mm, no. I usually eat people I don't like," Abaddon hummed before twirling in the air above Grayson
“Awwww that’s so nice.” Grayson giggled, reaching up and grabbing Abaddons hand so he could pull him down.
Abaddon raised a brow when Grayson grabbed his hand. "What are you doing?" he asked slowly, looking at their hands with confusion
“I don’t like looking up at you.” Grayson shrugged. “So I pulled you down.” He said, letting go of Abaddons hand quickly and shoving his hands in his pockets, looking down.
"Okay…" Abaddon said, still not entirely understanding why his usually cold skin felt warm where Grayson touched him
(both of them are just so. fucking. clueless.)
Grayson stayed quiet, his face burning up despite the cold breeze blowing through the town. He looked out towards the street, not wanting Abaddon to see him.
(I know and I love it)
Abaddon was floating circles above Grayson now, ignoring Grayson saying that he didn't like looking up at him before. When he noticed Grayson hiding his face, however, he frowned. "What are you hiding for?"
(lmao)
"I'm not hiding I'm just- Get back down here!" Grayson demanded, reaching for his hand again to pull him down.
Abaddon just rolled his eyes, letting Grayson tug him down. "What do you want?" he groaned
"I said I don't like having to look up when I talk to you. It's annoying." He replied, still holding onto Abaddon's hand to keep him from floating back up.
Abaddon huffed, a very faint hint of a blush coming to his cheeks without his realizing it. They were holding hands again, one of those weird human things, and his hand and face felt warm
“So..did you ever have any family?” Grayson asked quietly as they walked.
"Nope. I'm the only one of my kind, as far as I'm aware," Abaddon answered
“Oh..I’m sorry..” Grayson said, tightening his grip o. Abaddons hand ever so slightly.
"It's fine. I think I'm just a mutated form of an angel," Abaddon said with a shrug. That was a lie, of course, but he didn't feel like talking about it
Grayson nodded a little. “I understand..well not about the..uh..angel thing but about being alone..I guess..” He replied.
"Yeah. I'm such a weird creature no one knows what I am, and I usually only have friends like me," Abaddon said with a shrug
"I just don't like other humans so i'm glad I met you.."
Abaddon blinked owlishly at that. "You're…glad you met me?" he said slowly, the idea foreign to him
"Sure." Grayson shrugged, smiling. "You're good company when you aren't being annoying."
