"Well, I hope you're talking about me," Sterling laughed lightly. "Otherwise, I might be a little offended."
"Well, I hope you're talking about me," Sterling laughed lightly. "Otherwise, I might be a little offended."
"Who else would I be talking about? The fact you think other people actually want to kiss me is astonishing."
Sterlkng raised an eyebrow at her, remembering the events of the previous day. "Really, now? I seem to remember someone else wanting to kiss you…"
"Ah, yes, how could I forget the second instance of jealous Sterling I've seen."
"Second?" Sterling asked, trying to ignore the red creeping onto his face.
"Don't even try to pretend you weren't jealous of Jake, don't even try. You were definitely jealous. But, to be fair, it was kinda hot."
Jake. Right. The guy who already has a girlfriend…
Sterling cleared his throat. "Right. Yeah. Sure."
"Aww, you were!" She giggled.
"Oh, shuddup," Sterling muttered. "You'd be jealous, too, if a girl was hitting on me…"
"I didn't say I wouldn't be." She smiled a little.
Sterling huffed and leaned back on the bed. Yeah, he was jealous, but there was no need to make fun of him…
(Yay!)
"Aww, you know I love you, right? Cause I do." She smiled and laid her head on his shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah… Love you, too," Sterling sighed, kissing the side of her head.
She smiled a little and relaxed, staring at nothing in particular.
"So, I suppose it would be a good idea to discuss the clue," Sterling murmured.
"Well, what's something you wouldn't expect to be locked?"
Sterling sighed and looks up at the ceiling. "So many things… Like I said yesterday… Or rather, this morning, a tree…"
"There are ten thousand trees in this place, checking them all would take years."
"Yeah, I know. I'm not saying that it is a tree, just thatch wouldn't expect one to be locked…"
"Watch, it probably is a tree."
"That… would be terrible," Sterling sighed.
"Yeah but it's the exact thing they'd do."
"I'm, like, 75% sure that it's not a tree… That would be way too difficult."
"Well there was that one big tree in the middle and of the bonfire area that didn't seem too real to me."
Sterling nodded slowly. "True, yeah… I guess that could be it…"
"Too bad I can't walk." She sighed, shifting her ankle.
Sterling smirked and he glanced down at her with a mischievous look in his eyes. "I could carry you."
"I suppose that would work." She bit back her smile.
"Which do you prefer: me carrying you on my front, a piggy back ride, me tossing you over my shoulder in a fireman's carry, or bridal style?"
"Ahhh, too many options. Surprise me!" She shrugged.
