"No" Said Damian. "No they aren't. I'm royalty because I was Born in a wolf pack, and my dad is the Alpha. And don't get me wrong here, I don't like to brag, Actually if I could switch my heritage for something like theirs I would, and No one I know would blame me, Including my father."
"Why?" Cassian questioned, "Wouldn't it be nice to be royalty?" Lakin nodded and whispered something into Cassian's ear. "What is so bad about being royalty?"
"Not as a Halfblood Nightshade Crown Prince it isn't." said damian coldly.
"For starters I'm a lot smaller than most my age when it comes to wolf terms. Two I'm a halfblood. Three I don't fight."
"Well, that sucks." Cassian said, looking at Damian. He sighed and rolled his eyes, "Let's get back to discussing this city.."
"There really isnt much to discuss…" said Damian.
"Alright…" said guy1 "well we will be back later to ask more questions."
He turned and beckoned to the younger guy (guy2) leading him out a door a few feet away from Rykers cage.
(Sorry I didnt respond last night… i was preoccupied with packing so me and my dad could go to Sault St Marie today..)
(It's ok!)
Ryker sighed and rolled onto his side, facing away from the others and falling asleep. Cassian shrugged and looked at Damian and the others "Well, what should we do now?"
"Figure a way out of here" said Damian as he started pummeling the cage wall with shadow bolts.
"Any ideas on how I could do that? I don't have powers and I'm pretty sure I can't turn into a wolf and break the bars." Cassian looked down at Lakin and whispered something to her. She nodded and scooted to the edge of the cage, watching Cassian carefully.
Damian paused huffing a little from the effort, then he closed his eyes and blurred into the form of a young black wolf whose fur was streaked with red. He then charged the wall thudding into it. He kept on like that for as long as possible pacing in between hits.
Cassain ran towards the wall with his shoulder, ramming it as hard as he could. He did this for a while, rubbing his shoulder and glancing at Lakin between hits.
Damian finally stopped hitting down he shifted and began to rub his left shoulder. "Theres gotta be a better way to do this Cass" he said wincing at the large bruise hed given himself.
"Cass? I like it," Cassian said, grinning slightly as he rubbed his shoulder. "Now you need a nickname," He sat down in the middle of his cage and flopped onto his back, staring at the top of the cage.
"You could just call him little shadow!" Piped Luma with a big grin while shiara burst out laughing.
"Brat" muttered Damian as he shot him a glare smiling the whole time.
Cassian chuckled "Little shadow it is," He propped himself up on his hands and looked over at Damain, a giant grin on his face.
Damian glared at him, no smile was visible on his face as he casually flicked a mini shadow dart in Cassians direction. Watching as it shattered on the cage wall. " right wise guy. " said Damian as he stood and walked over to the wall of his cage. Studying it he stepped back, focussing his aura a lightweight sword made out of solidified shadows appeared in his hand. Then Damian began attacking the wall in a neverending seiries of sword swipes and slashes..
"NIce trick, are you mad at me?" Cassian asked, raising his eyebrow. He looked up at the top of the cage and sighed, glancing over at Damian every so often.
"No" said Damian between slashes "I hate that nickname and i really just want out." He said before blasting the wall with shadow aura.
"Well little shadow, it's now your permanent nickname," Cassian stood up and looked over at his sister, seeing that she had also fallen asleep. He rammed the wall again and sighed, rubbing his shoulder "I'll probably break my shoulder before I get out of here."
Damian huffed before shifting and leaping at the wall again. "Man this ain't gonna work Cass.." he said with a growl..
"No, Really?" He answered sarcastically, rolling his eyes as he rammed the wall again. He winced but shook his head, ramming the wall again and again.
"If you'd wait I think I have a better idea" said Damian sighing.
"I'm not big on waiting," Cassian said, ramming the wall again before continuing "I'm more of a do what I want when I want person."
"Will you pause for a sec and hear me out?" Said Damian frustration in his voice. "Look neither of us is strong enough to break one of these walls on our own. So I propose we work together to get out before we hurt ourselves."
"What can we do? There is clearly a cage around you and a cage around me," Cassian said, stopping and watching Damian, his arms crossed defiantly.
"Yeah but they share a wall." Said Damian gesturing to the barrier between them. "If we both start slamming against that at the same time its more likely to break. Especially if you do it on the left side and I do it on the right." He said gesturing to the two sides of the barrier.
"That might just work little shadow," Cassian said, stepping over to the left side of the barrier and getting ready to ram the wall.
"Good. Then we can work together on breaking an outer wall and get outta here." Said Damian as he shifted again readying to ram the wall.
"Ready? on three." Cassian said, glancing at Damian "One, Two, Three!" He charged towards the wall and watched as Damian did the same.
"Again" said Damian. and they charged it again and again and again.
Cassian could feel a giant bruise form on his shoulder but he ignored it, ramming the glass and clenching his teeth.
