(Sure! After dinner?)
Yeet))
Pierre cupped her face in his broad, rough hands, holding her as if he were afraid she might break. He kissed her back hard, but tenderly at the same time.
Jane dabbed at the corners of her mouth with her napkin. "John, that was splendid," she said, looking over at him fondly.
Edonine grasped his arms like there was no tomorrow, especially since the rest of her was swooning, drooping down against his support.
"I agree," he laughed, "I didn't expect it to turn out so well actually,"
"I agree," he laughed, "I didn't expect it to turn out so well actually,"
"I thoroughly enjoyed it," she replied, setting her napkin down beside her plate and looking at him.
John stood up from his chair, pushing it back under the table with his bare foot.

Jane followed his lead, pushing her chair in slowly so it didn't scratch on the floor. "What now, my sir?"
"Ill take your plate.." He offered, she could see the sweaty slickness across his palms. He was turning over a thought, buying time with the plates.
She handed over her plate, noting his slight change in demeanor. "Is something wrong, my sir?" she asked quietly.
Edonine grasped his arms like there was no tomorrow, especially since the rest of her was swooning, drooping down against his support.
He held her up, enclosing her in a desperate embrace as his mouth found hers again and again, relentless but soothing, passionately but softly.
She handed over her plate, noting his slight change in demeanor. "Is something wrong, my sir?" she asked quietly.
"Not at all…" He spoke in a breath.
Edonine breathed out a whimper, not one of pain, but a distinctly different kind beyond Pierre's detection of experience.

“Then what are you waiting for?” she murmured. A slow smile spread on her lips.
He began to move, smiling slowly. "Waiting for the right moment,"

Pierre finally pulled away, but barely, so that his mouth was just a few millimeters from hers.
She exhaled slowly. It left a warm brush of moisture across the hairs of his lip.
He began to move, smiling slowly. "Waiting for the right moment,"
“And that is when?” she asked, her eyes locking intensely with his.
A small, love-struck smile lingered on his mouth. His hand found her cheek, his thumb rubbing gently over her cheekbone.
André set the plates down. Turned around and looked at her with an inquisitive squint, "For you to be… In the right place.." He murmured. A bit of a coy smile spread over his lips.
Edonine sighed a slow groan, "I love you.." She breathed.

Jane felt her heartbeat increase rapidly. “Oh?” Her eyes sparkled.
Her words stirred something deep inside of him. He exhaled in partial wonder to how someone like her could ever live him, and breathed out a response. “I love you too..”
The Lieutenant lifted his hands to brush down the length of his coat, "Do you plan on being a celibate woman, Jane?"

Edonine pushed herself back up. "You don't have to sleep in the guest room, if you don't want to.."
The thought sent shivers racing down his spine. “I could.. I could hold you while we slept? You would like that?”
"I would," that made her smile so big. "I'd love that, Pierre,"
Pierre’s heart began to pound once more. After a stretch of comfortable silence, he spoke once more. “Did you— did you get my letters? I know you wouldn’t have been able to read them, but it was the only thing I could do— my commander wouldn’t give me leave until now. I came- I came now with another letter, one that I wanted.. one that I wanted to read you out loud.”
