Rita frowned sluggishly. "Please…"

"No," Amelia said firmly. "I'm not leaving you."

(It's fine! Jsyk, you posted about Elina and Anah on here… XD)

Rita felt her limbs getting heavy, but she focused on keeping her hand on her sister's cheek so she wouldn't scare her. "Okay…"

"You need to fight it, Rita. I know you can do it. You've done it before. Don't give up on me."

"I'm trying… Ame, it's too… it's too much this time…" Rita choked out. Her vision was even more blurred by tears.

"It can't be too much," Amelia sobbed. "I promised mum and dad!"

"I'm sorry… I disappointed you…" Rita whispered.

"You've never disappointed me, Rita!" Amelia yelled. "Please!"

Rita inhaled shakily and suddenly, filling her chest with one last breath of air. "I love you, Amelia," she whispered with a small smile right before her eyes glazed over.

"No, no, no, no, NO! RITA!" Amelia screamed, tears rolling down her eyes. "PLEASE!"

(Imma jump to another quick character. She's gonna be a fem. Steve Rogers.)

Sandra ran over the rocks. "Rita! Peter! Amelia! We need to go!"

Amelia looked at Sandra, hoping she would see what had happened.

Sandra frowned. "Amelia, what's…" Her eyes saw Rita. "No," she breathed.

Amelia turned away and looked back at her sister. She brushed some hair off Rita's face.

Sandra swallowed a lump that suddenly formed in her throat. "Hurry," she whispered. "We have to go."

"I can't just leave her here," Amelia croaked to Sanders.

Sandra nodded and gently lifted Rita's body off the ground. "I got her. Let's go."

Amelia stood still for a minute before walking after her.

A loud crack came from behind them. Sandra picked up her pace. "Amelia, hurry!"

Amelia heard it in distortion. Her mind was everywhere after Rita's death.

"Amelia!" Sandra cried. "Run faster!"

Amelia didn't hear her. She was walking at an adequate pace, unaware of her surroundings.

"Peter, help her!" Sandra ordered.

Amelia was locked back onto reality when Peter shot out webbing and pulled her body towards him.

Sandra made sure to carry Rita as gently as possible. "Come on!"

Rita's body was lifted from Sandra's arms by a red energy. This was Amelia holding her sister in the air while running, which meant that Rita was kept still.

(I'm just going to go with Sokovia.)

"Hurry, the last transport is boarding!" Sandra cried. They could spot it from where they were.

They kept running. But Amelia kept looking at Rita's body in the air.
