She shrugged. "Not if you're not prepared!" She proceeded to shove him into the water.

"Hey!" Sterling exclaimed as he fell. He had managed to grab onto her sleeve, though, so she was pulled in with him.

She let out a small yelp before the water stole her words. She popped back up, spitting water.

Sterling laughed as he crawled back onto the shore of the lake. "I told you!"

She didn't answer, just glared at him playfully as she squeezed water out of her hair.

"Hey, you started it," he teased, using her own words against her.

She turned away with a dramatic pout.

Sterling blinked at her lack of a reaction. "Are you all right? Did you get hurt when you fell in?"

She chuckled a little. "I'm fine, Sterling. Jeez, relax." She stood but instantly toppled back in. "Oww, my ankle. I must've hit a rock or something." She hissed through clenched teeth.

Sterling grimaced and stepped back in, offering her his hand. "Here, let me help you."

She took it and slowly got to her feet. Err, foot. "Of course, I'm the one person who gets her ankle twisted on a rock." She chuckled.

Sterling smiled at her as he helped her to the shore. "How about I take you to your room? You can shower and get that door up. We can get back to work later."

"But then we'll fall behind. If anything, you should go ahead without me."

"We're ahead of everyone else, so it'll be fine if we get a bit behind. Plus, I can come visit you, and we can talk about it," Sterling said with a shrug.

"Sorry, my competitiveness is starting to come out."

"It's fine, don't worry about it," Sterling assured her with a grin as he led her up to her cabin. "It's a good thing to be competitive here."

She chuckled softly. "I suppose it is." She reached for the door.

"Good night… Or, morning, I suppose," Sterling chuckled. "Again."

"Nooo, stay with me. Please?" She batted her eyelashes hopefully.

Sterling's smile softened, and he bent down to kiss her softly. "I can't. We'll both get in trouble if they catch me."

"So? I'm sure they'll understand if they see I'm hurt. Either that or they'll ask why you didn't take me to the nurse. One of the two."

"Not tonight, Cass. I'm sorry," Sterling said softly. "But I'll see you later, okay? I'll bring you breakfast."

"Aww. Fine. But I expect you back in the morning." She kissed him softly and hopped to the door. "Night love." She smiled and hopped inside.

Sterling smiled and whispered "Goodnight" to the already-closed door before he turned and walked toward his own cabin. He was going to have a great time trying to get to sleep…

She collapsed on her bed, exhausted from jumping. But once she laid down and closed her eyes, he took over her thoughts again.

Sterling sighed and buried his face in his arms, having laid down and tried to sleep. He just replaying the whole night over and over again… It was like she was permanently branded in his mind.

He haunted her brain, the night kept replaying in her memory. His memories wouldn't leave her alone.

Over an hour later, Sterling finally dropped into sleep. His drama were filled with a new, but very familiar, face, and she appeared everywhere.

It took an hour an half but she did fall asleep. However, he still haunted her dreams in a very, ahem, interesting way.

Sterling woke to bright sunlight streaming through the windows of his cabin and all of his bunkmates gone. He groaned and sat up, realizing that he should probably get going to see Cassandra.
