Dak's eyes widened a bit, "I've never been able to do that before, but maybe I can? I don't know."
Dak's eyes widened a bit, "I've never been able to do that before, but maybe I can? I don't know."
“Just try,” Colton said as gently as possible, “If you can’t then we can look for a tool to do so.”
Dak let out a long breath before turning and next to the wood put his hand to it. He focused for a second before the metal melted beneath his hand. He remove his hand to see a small hole where is palm was, "Holy shit. I did it."
Gail walked over to where Chrysi was and looked up "what next boss?" She joked
Chrysi chuckled, "Well, I need to upload my new data to the computer. Otherwise we need to train the new idiots."
"Wheres your computer? Want me to go get it?" She asked, leaning against the wall.
Dak let out a long breath before turning and next to the wood put his hand to it. He focused for a second before the metal melted beneath his hand. He remove his hand to see a small hole where is palm was, "Holy shit. I did it."
Colton let out a laugh, “I knew it! See? What did I say. Alright, let’s tie the rope up now.”
(Yall wanna join my new rp?)
"It's in my house," Chrysi responded sitting down on the roof top taking out her battery notebook pack, "And it would be great if you could get it."
Dak laughed, "Okay." He thread the cord through before putting his other hand against the other side of the wood. He created another hole, "This is so cool!"
“I wish I could do that,” Colton said, giving Dak a smile, “How’d you keep getting cooler?”
Dan smiled back, his cheeks flush with slight embarrassment, "I don't know. The INK maybe?"
Colton shrugged, “That or you just needed a little push to unlock next level cool.”
"Maybe," Dan laughed slightly, "Who knows."
Colton laughed with him, “Yeah, who knows…” Eventually, the two finished the walls of the hut, “We did it!”
Dan was exhausted yet he cheered, "Finally! I swear don't have us make anymore!"
Colton chuckled and nodded, shrugging off his jacket and sitting on the ground, “Let’s just take a break before finding a blanket.”
Dak sat down near him, I say sat more like collapsed onto his back and didn't bother to sit up. He nodded eyes clothes, "I have never done so much manual labor in my life, ever."
Colton looked over and raised an eyebrow before rolling onto his stomach, slightly closer to him, “Well, you’re gonna have to do a lot more. You’ll get used to it.”
Dak groaned as he propped himself up on his elbows, "I hope so, otherwise I'm screwed. They never let me do anything back home, and now I have to do everything."
“Welcome to the real world,” Colton mumbled, resting his head on his hands, “If you don’t mind me asking… what was it like? Your home I mean.”
"It was…… White, and boring, and had weird glass," Dak responded, "Like a mirror almost."
“Huh that’s… strange…” Colton spoke slowly as if he was still thinking, “Did you ever get to go outside much?”
"Never, today was the first time," Dak said.
“Wow that’s… really sad.” Colton frowned a little.
Dak shrugged, "Never really thought about it too much."
“You ever thought about seeing the green grass or the blue sky?” Colton sat up straight, “Thw white clouds of the way the sky blends into a mix of oranges, yellows and pinks at dawn while the birds wake?”
"I mean yeah I thought about them," Dak was still relaxed, "But never really tried to see them. I could see pictures and that was good enough for me.. At the time at least."
Colton sighed, “That sucks… not being able to see the environment is just cruel.”
Dak laid back down and stared at the sky, "I never really thought it was, it was just my life."
“Yeah, supoose so,” Colton sighed and ran a hand through his hair, “I guess from both of our experiences we see the world differently.”
