She looked up at him slowly. "Hmm, I guess."

Sterling pecked her lips quickly before setting her back in her feet. “All right.”

She couldn't help it, she reached up and tugged him down into a kiss.

Sterling chuckled before wrapping his arms around her and kissing her back.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. This was addictive and addictive for an assassin was bad.

It had been a while since he had been able to be this relaxed around someone, so this was really nice for Sterling. His hold on her tightened slightly, pulling her closer.

She relaxed in his grip, smiling against his lips. It was rare that she ever fully relaxed so this was amazing.

Sterling pulled away just enough that their lips were still brushing. His breath fanned across her lips as he caught it.

She smiled a little, her breath coming out in soft pants. She wasn't used to kissing people, especially not for long periods of time.

“You know,” Sterling breathed, opening his eyes to look at her. “You’re a good kisser.”

"Really? I wouldn't know, I don't kiss people." She chuckled, slightly breathless. "But I'd also have to say the same for you."

Sterling laughed softly. “Well, thanks, sweetheart.”

"Anytime, love." She kissed him softly with a smile.

Sterling chuckled and pecked her back. “I wouldn’t mind spending the next few hours doing this… Though my lungs might.”

"Meh, who needs lungs?" She shrugged with a giggle.

“Hm… Plants. Plants don’t need lungs,” Sterling stated matter-of-factly.

"Exactly. Just pretend you're a plant."

Sterling blinked at her. “Are you saying you would kiss a plant?”

"Depends on the plant, to be honest." She bit back an amused smile.

“You are a strange woman, Cassandra,” Sterling teased, chuckling.

"Yes but you love me for it." She giggled.

“Hm…” Sterling hummed before kissing her again lightly.

"I'll take that as a yes."

Sterling chuckled again and pulled away. He stayed close enough that their noses were touching, though.

"You're such a tease." She pouted at him childishly.

“Me? A tease? No, never,” Sterling said with a light laugh.

"Mhm. Yeah. Sure." She rolled her eyes with a slight smile.

Sterling chuckled again and kissed the corners of her mouth before pulling away. He sat back down on the bench, his hands to either side of him and a leg stretched out in front of him.
