Abi packed her things up quickly after taking a short rest and continued her journey. A little while later, she found herself back at the dark castle her father had shown her. She sighed and walked into unknown territory
Maleficent stared at Reina and sighed. Then she repeated, “What price are you willing to pay?” She paused, then added, “I can assume that you have had the common sense to bring something of value.”
Reina resisted the urge to roll her eyes and pulled a small pouch from her belt. One by one, she pulled each item out and put them back in. “A rather large vial of phoenix tears. Twenty dragon scales. Crown jewels from the elven monarch. And, in a bit, King Farelian’s head on a stick.”
Resisting the urge to pick up the vial of phoenix tears, Maleficent nodded. “I see… you do strike a rather impressive bargain. I suppose I might spare a bit more of my time for you… what is is that you want from me? I cannot promise to give it,” the faery added. (She’s a faery right?)
Madison, who had been somewhat holding her breath in fear, exhaled quietly. We probably won’t be smited by Maleficent… at least, not today… that’s good….

“At least your request is sensible,” Maleficent said, sweeping her arm out to the side. “I shall grant your request.” She walked over to a table b the window that was covered in small vials filled with different-colored liquids and selected seven that were an identical shade of blue.
