"Maybe." She checked her phone for the time. "Looks like we've got a couple hours to kill."

“Hm… What should we do, then?” Sterling wondered, wrapping an arm around her waist and resting his chin on her.

"I can think of a couple things." She smiled, turning to look at him.

Sterling chuckled. “Let me guess, one of them is making out?”

"Well of course! You know so well." She smiled, not exactly ashamed of her own ideas.

“Hm… Do you want to just hang out here? Or go somewhere else?” Sterling asked, glancing around at the lake.

"I like it here, it's nice and quiet." She smiled softly.

“It is… The view is nice, too,” Sterling hummed, his gaze moving back to Cassandra.

"Are you saying that about the lake or about me?" She chuckled, leaning back into his chest.

“Can it be both?” Sterling asked with a grin.

"I suppose, love." She shrugged with a small smile.

“Well, good. Because I’m not changing my mind,” Sterling declared, wrapping his other arm around her.

"I didn't expect you to." She giggled, pushing her glasses up slowly.

“That’s good,” Sterling said, nuzzling her chin with his nose.

She giggled. "Stop that, it tickles." She was fairly ticklish.

Sterling grinned. “Oh, does it? What about this?” He wriggled his fingers against her side, tickling her.

She giggled again, brushing his hand away. "Yes, that does too."

“Good to know,” Sterling said, holding her tighter as he tickled her again.

"Stop it, that's not fair!" She giggled, once again brushing his hand away.

“It’s totally fair, sweetheart. Plus, your giggle is cute.”

"It's not fair if I can't fight back." She pouted like a child.

“But I enjoy tickling you,” Sterling chuckled.

"Of course you do because you're not the one being tickled!"

“Well, if you dislike it that much, then I’ll stop…”

"Aww, love don't take it that way. It's been a while since I laughed that hard, I kind of needed it." She kissed his cheek lovingly.

“So… Can I tickle you again?” Sterling asked, giving her a teasing look.

She narrowed her eyes at him playfully. "I think you already know the answer to that."

Sterling grinned and winked. “If you want me to answer, I’m just going to tickle you again.”

"Noooo!" She curled up into a ball, wrapping her arms around herself, smiling to herself.

Sterling laughed and wrapped his arms around her, picking her up as he stood. “Is this any better?”
