@gracehustle

XD honestly I've gotten used to the notebook thing..it's the stupid chair thing that gets me..
honestly! If you are going to make desks like that, pleaseeeeee put some left handed ones in the crowds! I don't want to sit in the front row or the very back row..

Deleted user

No. That's not nice.
It's awful.
If you can help me…. I'll just give you the question to mess with you XD

A 2000 kilogram car is traveling with a speed of 10 meters/second. What is the magnitude of the horizontal net force that is required to bring the car to a halt in the distance of 50 meters?

I hate this shit.

@gracehustle

…….um…oof….I have no idea….
You do realize that I'm a little freshie right? I think I could figure it out though if I knew what "the magnitude of the horizontal net force" meant…

Deleted user

Lol XD
Imma jus messin….
But… It's moving on a horizontal plain, and net force has to do with inertia and all that.
I can't really explain it, and it kinda sucks.

@gracehustle

XD it does sound interesting tho, more interesting than figuring out oxidation numbers for different elements..or writing several paragraphs about a C02 car that I made…or solving 2 + a over 4 = -1….

Deleted user

Lol.
Oh well.
You can try. Lemme tell you though. If a car is slowing down, is it accelerating?

Deleted user

Lol… It is….
But in the opposite direction the car is going.

Deleted user

Lol. But trust me. It does go about stuff like that.
And acceleration is measured in meters/second/second.
XD

Deleted user

You can try.
I don't even know if I'll get it right.
Do you know the equation

D=1/2(a)(t)2

Deleted user

Where:
D = distance meters
a = Acceleration m/s/s
t = Time seconds

Deleted user

It's sorta complicated…..
I can't really explain it here with the weird mind I have…

Deleted user

Exactly…. The numbers you plug in to that equation don't make sense with the problem…

Deleted user

One would be more like this…

A cat falls off a 40 meter cliff. If the cat accelerates downward at an acceleration of 9.8 m/s/s, how long will it take before the cat hits the ground?

Kinda…

Deleted user

You literally plug stuffy in and solve it like algebra.

40=(4.9)(t)2
