“Mm, no, I don’t think that would be a good idea,” Kasey chuckled softly. “Babe, you are cute all the time. You don’t have to get hurt to be.”
“Mm, no, I don’t think that would be a good idea,” Kasey chuckled softly. “Babe, you are cute all the time. You don’t have to get hurt to be.”
"Hmmmmmm, nahhh," Liam replied, giggling, "Maybe I should become Spider-man…"
“Why don’t you become Super-Reporter? He always asks the right questions to get the answers he needs, and he gets to fall in love with the coffee shop barista who takes his order every morning,” Kasey suggested with a a smile, kissing his cheek. “How does that sound?”
“Hm… no. I don’t want to fall in love with the coffee shop barista because I’m already in love with you.” Liam replied, tilting his head back to grin up at Kasey.
“Love, I was a barista, remember?” Kasey laughed softly.
Liam gasped a little, “Oh right! Yeah I totally forgot!”
“You are absolutely ridiculous like this. What did Madi put you on? Laughing gas?” Kasey wondered with a smile, noticing a familiar vehicle pulling up. “Oh, looks like Harper is here. You ready to go home, Liam?”
Liam giggled softly, “I dunno babe but whatever it I feel like I’m floating,” He grinned at her, “Yup. I’m ready to see our chirren.”
“‘Chirren’? The cats?” Kasey questioned, giving him an amused look. She chuckled softly and shook her head. “All right, then. Harper is almost here.”
"Great, wonderful, perfect, amazing," Liam replied, "Those last three were words I was using to describe you, by the way."
Kasey blushed and looked down at him. “Flirt… Geez, even on drugs you flirt with me,” she murmured, looking back up and waving Harper toward them.
Liam giggled, "You're cute when you blush… actually you're just cute all the time."
“And you are hilarious and adorable when you’re on loopy medication,” Kasey chuckled softly, still blushing.
Harper pulled up in front of them and parked his truck. He got out and stepped around to help Liam up into the vehicle. “Hey, man. How’re you doing today?”
“Very silly and loopy,” Kasey answered for him, smiling down at her boyfriend.
Liam stuck his tongue out at Kasey, "No way, I'm perfectly normal sunshine."
Kasey chuckled softly and looked up at her brother. “He’s loopy from meds.”
Harper shook his head with a smile, opening up the door for them. “Well, then, I’m sure this will be an interesting ride, hm?”
“Definitely,” Kasey agreed. “Liam, can we help you into the truck, now?”
Liam waved a hand idly, "I'm a man, I can get in the thingo by myself." He pushed himself up slowly, standing but wobbling on his feet.
“Babe, no… You’re going to fall over,” Kasey said, holding onto his arm to steady him.
"Pffft, what? No way." Liam waved his free hand idly, falling forwards a little but catching himself on the truck.
“Liam,” Kasey sighed, wrapping an arm around him. “I’m helping you there.”
"I'm fiiiiiiiiiine," Liam replied, though he did lean into Kasey a little.
Kasey hummed noncommittally and walked to the truck. Harper opened the door for them, and she carefully pushed/lifted Liam inside. Once he was in and sitting down, she reached up and buckled him in, having to stand on the edge to reach.
"I could have buckled myself in, you know?" Liam mumbled, looking from his lap to Kasey then back to his lap.
Kasey hummed and smiled at him, hen kissed his forehead. “Maybe. Maybe not. It’s too late now, anyway. And don’t even think of unbuckling yourself before we get home.”
"Pffft, I would never sunshine." Liam grinned, sending he a wink.
“Mmhm. Maybe I’ll just sit back here with you… That’s starting to seem like a safer idea,” Kasey mused, looking at him thoughtfully.
“You should sit back here because you love me and I’ll die of affection deprivation if you don’t.” Liam shrugged.
Kasey laughed and glanced back at her brother who simply shrugged in a, “It’s your call” kind of way.
“Sure, love, I’ll sit with you,” she said, carefully climbing over him to the next seat.
Liam grinned, shifting a little to help Kasey get into the back seat. He kissed her cheek once she was in.
“You’re such a goofball,” Kasey sighed, shaking her head with an amused smile. She rested her head on his shoulder as Harper climbed into the front seat and started the car.
“Just to your apartment?” he asked, looking back at them in the rear view mirror.
“Mmhm. Please,” Kasey hummed with a small smile.
"Yup. I want to see our chirren." Liam mumbled, resting his head on top of Kasey's and closing his eyes.
