Amber saw Kira with a strange smile on her face. "Kira… what are you smiling about?"

"Um… nothing." Kira looked down at her horse, but the others were turning around to look as well. Her cheeks turned first a snowy white then a deep scarlet. "Leave me alone."

Amber was suspicious but didn't bother pestering anymore

After a while of silence, Kira risked looking up again, half asleep. She hadn't realized how tired she was. A princes doesn't sleep in front of everyone like a- a- like Shey. Anyways, they were almost home.

Amber tried to calm her suspicions but it was difficult seeing how the princess had treated them the whole time.
