“Can we have at least some dragons stand guard?” Aurelius suggested, “They’re not the best at stealth, for starters.”
“Didn’t you literally say we need to bring dragons in case of that kind of combat?” Pollux muttered.

@Becfromthedead group

“Nox, Riven… Who else?” Aurelius asked, looking around. A lot of these dragons were more intended for combat. But Riven was quick enough. Nox would blend in with shadows.
“You know what? Two groups. Each can take one dragon.”

@Fantasy-Illy!

"Vey will be coming." Oliver said as he hopped off Riven. He kinda had to since Vey was in his body. "And if it gets dark, Riven can glow, so he will help a lot."

So here's my pantheon as it is right now, if anyone wants their character to be a follower of a specific god or goddess or otherwise make references to the gods… You don't have to read it or use any of this info if you don't want to, but it's here if you do! I'll also add it to the first page so that you know where to go, should you want to reference it again. I'm open to suggestions and improvements on my list if I, for example, missed an important domain or something.

4 Gods of Death:

  • Spirit Shepherd (Takes care of spirits in between lives, helps the living commune with the newly dead)- Vosskevma [Vahs-kehv-mah]; goddess
  • Passing, Doorways, Unfamiliarity, Rites- Per-Osti [Pehr-austi]; god
  • Judge of the Dead- Helvdomm [Helv-dohm]; god
  • Cycles, the Moon, Birth, Death, Reincarnation- Leur-Addna [Lure-ahd-nah]

The Rest of the Gods:

  • Wisdom, foresight, depth of the ocean- Moordyff [More-Diff], “God of the deep,” ; god
  • Quickness on one’s feet, mischief, intelligence, wind- Ondreiia [On-dry-ah]; goddess
  • War, lust, passion, the beating of the heart, rivers- Kevaima [keh-vy-mah]; goddess
  • Fire, enlightenment, resolution of conflict- Teinefríd [Tyne-freed]; god
  • Physical pain, earth, decay, disease- Epofyys [Ep-off-iss]; god
  • Psychological pain, skyand rainwater, storms, looming bad fortune- Dol-Akri [Dohl-ahkree]- goddess
  • Happiness, joy, friendship, drunkenness, harvest- Laetvjel [Light-vyell]; goddess
  • Pure love, wishes, the sun and stars- Astasijah [As-tah-see-yah]; goddess
  • Winter, sleep, aging, the elderly, ice, bitterness, dying a peaceful death- Palainiev [Pal-eye-nee-ev]; god
  • Summer, music, hunters, wildlife, coexisting especially of different species- Miir-Kyne [Meer-kine]; god
  • Autumn, change, alchemy, smithing- Ny-Athruu [Ny-ath-roo]; goddess
  • Spring, physical health, healing- Ivorniach [ihv-or-nee-ahck]; goddess
  • Art, innovation, fear of the unknown, creator of dragons- -Aedrek [Eye-dreck]; god
  • Magic, power, superiority, riches, granted dragons their powers- Fuerr-Dev [Fwer-Dehv]; goddess

(Thank you!!! It's my first time making a full-on pantheon, so I'm super excited. I also may end up using them for Dnd if I ever DM a campaign. Only problem is, none of them are inherently good or evil or otherwise have any sort of moral alignment. They all strike a balance together and coexist.)

@ShadeStar

(I think that's one of the best types of pantheon. Since anything could really happen then, good or bad. Also Quincy is a follower of Ny-Athruu if that's cool.)

@Becfromthedead group

(I was actually kind of thinking about her when I added the alchemy part to Ny-Athruu's domain. So that's fine. Anyone can follow any god. There's nothing too OP, mostly because the most the gods do is grant somewhat enhanced abilities in dire times of need (and they have a right to refuse), and sometimes they might put in a good word with the old man Helvdomm when he's judging you after death. Might make sure he puts you in an at least descent next life.
As for my characters, Aurelius follows Vosskevma, and Pollux follows Ivorniach. Valkyrie…? I'm not sure. I think she has a respect for all the gods but doesn't devote much time to a single one, although she has loose connections to Ny-Athruu and Dol-Akri.)

@Becfromthedead group

(I haven't figured it out yet. I think usually people only fully devote their lives to one, but may interact with others. So take Pollux for example. His patron goddess is Ivorniach, and she's the main one that he talks to. However, I imagine he would occasionally talk to some of the other gods, specifically Moordyff, hoping for a little boost of wisdom here and there, and Epofyys, hoping for more clear knowledge of ailments and asking for some amount of mercy on his patients. Or you can go with the "she's still figuring things out" explanation. Doesn't matter too much to me.)

"Looks like we do," Aurelius said, "At least, as much of a plan as we're going to get. So we'll have to go in through the catacombs, in two separate groups. We're going to leave most of the dragons as guards to make sure no one goes into the catacombs through the same entrances, and we'll probably take Nox and Riven in. We get what information we can, and we get out. If we have to do another mission later, so be it."

@Becfromthedead group

"That's up for everyone to decide, honestly. I think Pollux is going in the other group. Oliver is staying with me for sure."
Nox looked to Aurelius. You're trying to take me with you, aren't you? I think it's best if you don't separate Oliver and Riven. I'll go with Pollux. I can usually sense if something's wrong with you.
Aurelius froze up a little. "Nox…? You're sure about this?"
She dipped her head. I'm sure.
