((OOOOOH!!!!! I figured! My temp is almost done, love))
Winifred giggled like a school girl, smiling brightly. "Thomas is such a wonderful man, don't you think?"

Winifred giggled like a school girl, smiling brightly. "Thomas is such a wonderful man, don't you think?"
(Awesome, can’t wait! And yeah, most of my rp characters are connected)
Confusion dawned in Angeline’s eyes, though her heart seemed to jump at the name. Strange… “I suppose?”
Marcus’s grin was devious. “He’s coming to sit with us soon.”
Thomas glided past them, trays in his hands. He set the food of other guests doyen and returned to their table. "Good afternoon…" His eyes fell on Angeline. She looked beautiful in that blue dress. He smiled, though there was a hint of nervousness behind it. "May I take your orders?"
A soft, hesitant smile came to life on Angeline’s face, which cleared itself of confusion. “Hello, Thomas,” she greeted, her voice dipping lower than its regular volume. “Er— I’ll have the onion soup and some water, please.”
((Oh, Angeline~ XD))
Heat rose within Thomas. "Yes, of course." He gained a bit confidence in his smile. He jotted the order down, though his eyes never left her. Those eyes…. He could so easily get lot in them. But he wouldn't, not on the job. He forced his gaze away and looked to Marcus and his girl.
Winifred looked between the two and smiled. "I'll have the creamy mushroom soup and cucumber sandwiches." She told Thomas, his eyes sliding to Angeline as he wrote down the order.
(Lol)
Angeline kept her eyes trained in her lap, trying to untangle the hopeless knot of emotion that had emerged. Marcus, definitely not oblivious to all of this, ordered the cream of tomato soup.
Thomas smirked at Marcus and Winifred, Angeline obviously was trying to keep her attention elsewhere. "This all seems very familiar, you two. I suppose you'd desire the chocolate ganache cake as well. Ill bring extra napkins with that…" he gave a wink and departed, his heart hammering in his chest.
Winifred's cheeks reddened at the memory but she refused to acknowledge the embarrassment.
Marcus chuckled, though flushed, and pressed a kiss to Winnifred’s temple as he tucked her up against his side. Angeline watched them, the pang in her heart easing until she found that it didn’t hurt as much as it used to. “What happened last time?” she asked, fueled by curiosity and the need to distract herself from Thomas.
Winifred turned her head into Marcus's side, covering her face. She groaned. "Just the thought that we had an audience for that….."
He chuckled, burying a hand in her hair. “It was a lot of awkward flirting,” he said to Angeline. “An awakening of sorts, we realized we had feelings for eachother. Thomas helped speed things along.”
"And we're hoping he'll work his magic once more." Winifred leaned into his hand, closing her eyes to relish the feline like a cat pleased with her master. She had worn her hair down instead of placing in its tight impeccable bun. It was time for a bit of change….for all of them.
Realization dawned on Angeline’s face and she stared at the two of them with something akin to shock. “Oh my god.”
Winifred looked to her and laughed. "She reacted better than we expected, Marcus. " she leaned over and pinched her cheeks once more. "Now, smile. He's coming back."
Thomas had worked faster than he ever had in his entire life. Soon, he was back at their table, tray in hand, eyes on Angeline.
As soon as his eyes landed on her, Angeline was panicking, her own gaze jumping from Winnifred to Marcus in a silent call for help.
Marcus gave her a subtle, encouraging grin, and turned to Thomas.
Thomas let his gaze shift when Marcus turned to him. He set all their food down with magnificent flourish. "Your food." he announced, setting each plate down. But there was an extra. He set it in the last chair and sat down. "Along with mine."
“Thank you, Thomas,” Marcus said sincerely, giving Angeline a subtle nudge with his foot under the table. Angeline was still wide-eyed and panicking, though she at least had the panic hidden inside, where Thomas couldn’t see.
"Thank you for allowing me to join you." Thomas replied. "Let me know if you need anything at all." Thomas caught Angeline's gaze as he spoke those words. Apparently they had double meaning, specially for her. He flashed her a smile.
Angeline’s heart skipped a beat. Trying on a careful smile, she glanced down at her food, a blush rising to her cheeks. “It’s no problem, Thomas, we’re glad to have you.” Her voice was soft, shy.
A soft gasp escaped Thomas.
She blushed…
The mere sight sent red racing across his cheeks. This beautiful goddess, she blushed because of him! Thomas could hardly take his eyes off of her, much less eat, but he .managed to do so. He didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable.
Marcus was an inch away from giggling like a tiny maniacal toddler. Once again, he kicked Angeline under the table, then Thomas in turn.
Angeline never remembered feeling so utterly confused. She cleared her throat, heart pounding with wild abandon, but no words came out of her mouth.
He tossed a glare at Marcus as Thomas received that kick. He knew he had to say something to her. He just….hadn't figured out what just yet. He cleared his throat out and looked to Angeline. Those eyes…. He was a slave to them and happy to be one.
"Miss…. Try the food." he handed her a fork. "I assure you it will be nothing but extraordinary. " Once again, his words had more than one meaning.
Angeline took the fork, blush deepening as her hand brushed Thomas's. "Th-Thank you. I have no doubt about that." And this time, it was her words that masked a hidden connotation.
Thomas beamed and retracted his hand, his skin tingling where she brushed him. He picked up his fork as well
Winifred smiled as she watched. It was like a romance story in a book. Slowly, she lifted a cucumber sandwich to her lips, her smiling lips.
“So, Thomas, how are you?” the woman managed, tucking a strand of flaxen hair behind her ear.
"Wonderful, I've been absolutely wonderful. It's so nice to see you again, Angeline. It has been quite a while. How are you?" Thomas countered. He expected her to lie about her well being. He knew from Marcus how cruel and violent that Lord Crenshaw was, he, himself hadn't had the pleasure to meet him yet.
Angeline bit her lip nervously, inhaling deeply. “It’s good to see you too. I’m- I’m doing better.”
The answer wasn't what he had hoped for, but what he'd expected. He gave a faint hum and looked to Winifred. "And you miss…."
"Darcy." Winifred smiled. "I'm doing fine, Thomas, a pleasure to see you again." She said. Thomas smiled and nodded. "It's nice to see you again, too. Especially now that the banter has ceased." he chuckled.
Marcus flushed slightly, grinning sheepishly. "All thanks to you, my friend. I guess we'll just.. have to repay you in some way." Beneath the table, he prodded Angeline with his foot."
Thomas laughed and shook his head. "Nonsense, Marcus. It's not everyday one get's to feel the hope of love." Thomas sipped his water. Winifred looked to him and then pointedly to Angeline.
Angeline's cheeks burned under Winifred's scrutiny. Just as she was about to reply, Marcus cleared his throat and stood. "Winifred, there's something I'd like to show you by the lake, why don't you come with?" In plain words 'let's leave the lovestruck idiots alone to talk'.
