"Ok…"
"Ok…"
"Asher," Fleur said with a smile "You are a pretty cool guy."
"W-What…N-No I'm not" he blushes badly
"Yes you are, stop denying it." She said happily, playfully punching him in the shoulder.
He held his shoulder "Y-you'd be surprised" he said very quietly
She looked curiously at him "By what?"
"D-Don't worry about it…"
"I want to know," She said, turning to face him.
"…"He clenched his hands with some of his jacket along with it "I-I said don't worry about it…"
Fleur rolled her eyes "C'mon, please?"
He looks away but extends his arm out towards her "…"
"What?" She said, gently taking his hand and looking at his arm.
From the end of the sleeve, you could see a few cuts. Some look new and others look like their starting to heal.
Her eyes widened as she pushed his sleeve up to his elbows, she tried to talk but no words came out.
He curls up into a crying mess
Fleur wrapped him in a hug and said nothing, just pulled him into a hug.
He just sat there crying. why does she care so much? he thought
She sat there, hugging him and listening to him cry, trying to think of how to help.
His phone started ringing he looked up. it was his dad. he threw the phone and curled up even more
"Hey..Asher..I'm sorry.." Fleur said quietly, letting him go and just staring at the stream.
His phone started ringing again. "D-Don't…b-be…"
"No. It's my fault. I brought it up." She said, standing up and shaking her head. She turned and walked back to the car slowly.
"D-Don't leave me…"
She turned around, her nose red and her eyes wet from tears "I'll just make things worse.."
"it's better than being alone…" he said crying again
She nodded "I guess.." She walked back over to him and sat down next to him, pulling her legs up to her chest and burying her head into her knees.
His phone was cracked "Why do I even have a phone…"
Fleur said nothing, staying curled up instead.
Asher stopped talking. great i made her hate me…
Fleur looked at Asher sideways "Do you hate me?" She whispered softly.
