She put her hand on his and slipped the keys from his fingers. "No, I don't," she said firmly, not skipping a step as she continued walking towards the door.

(so sorry for not responding I wasn't on much yesterday)
He jumped at the touch but followed her "at least let me drive." he said with a smile

Nathalie shook her head. "Mr. Agreste, I'm perfectly fine." She knew that she would be… for the next couple hours. She hoped she could get through the day without getting another one. She didn't want to worry him again.

"Still doesn't change the fact that I'm driving." He smiled as he got in the driver's seat "you coming or not?" he waited for her to give him the keys

"I am perfectly capable of driving," she muttered, reluctantly handing over the keys.

He smiled at her "you sure you're ok? your head doesn't hurt or anything?" He knew she hated when he worried for her but couldn't help it.

"I told you, I'm fine," she replied quickly and evenly, looking out the passenger side window.

He nodded once, regret settling in his stomach. They drove in silence for a few moments "so we're not going to talk about it?" he glanced at her

"Only if you want to, sir," she replied quietly. Her heart pounded. She didn't know if she was ready to tell him yet.

"Natalie, you know how I hate you calling me that, please." He sighed "Please, just talk to me, you know you can trust me. "he looked at her

Nathalie bit her lip and shook her head subtly. "What is there to say?" she asked, her gaze never straying from out the window.

"Last night? tell me when you fainted, you didn't forget what happened." Does she not want to talk about it? Does she not feel the same anymore? did I do something to upset her? he ran through the millions of questions he had in his mind as he waited for her response

"No, I… I remember what happened," she replied slowly, turning away from the window to finally face him.

(What if they're kissing in the car when Adrien comes out!)

"And….there's nothing you want to say?" he looked at her, wanting to say so much, yet not knowing how

"Right now? No. It's not the time," she added the last part under her breath quietly.

He nodded and looked towards the window, feeling as if he had done something wrong "if I did something…anything to upset you, please let me know." He got out of the car and stood waiting needing the fresh air.

Nathalie took a deep breath and got out of the car. She walked over to him and stood in front of him, looking deep into his eyes. "You've done nothing wrong. It's just… I've done things that I shouldn't have… things I don't want you to know because it could put you in danger," she admitted softly.

He looked down at her "put me in danger…" he repeated, his blue eyes turning icy "what could you have possibly done, that would put me in danger?" he asked slowly. "Is your life at risk? Natalie if your life is in danger tell me." he looked at her hard, trying to see past her expression "please"

Nathalie averted his gaze. She'd said too much and she knew it from his hard look. "I… I can't," she whispered. "You just have to know that I love you, and that's the reason I'm not telling you."

He stepped close to her, closing the gap between them and tilted her face towards his "if you love me, then doesn't that give you justification to tell me?" He stared down at her, wanting to protect her from this nightmare that follows her. "Natalie please." He whispered

"I can't," she replied quietly. They were so close that their lips brushed with every word.

"Yes you can, you know I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." He whispered against her lips. He turned away as Adrien came out of the house, genuinely smiling at him "How was the sleepover?"

Adrien stared as he watched his father and his caretaker practically kiss.
"Uh… it was fun…"
Nathalie backed away quickly. She cleared her throat. "Hello, Adrien."

"Good," he opened the door for him and Natalie and got in the driver's seat

Nathalie got in, her cheeks a soft pink to show her blush, and looked out the window.
"So… Did you two have fun?" Adrien asked quietly, making Nathalie turn a deeper pink.

Gabriel cleared his throat "um yes, it was peaceful yesterday night." he tried changing the subject " so how's your friend?"

Adrien nodded. "Nino's fine."
Nathalie looked away from the window for a moment.
