(Where were we?)
(Where were we?)
He shook his head. He grabbed her arm again and dragged her back in the direction they came, away from the monsters.
She again uselessly followed him again.
(This. Probably.)
(Okay.)
Kaden was hoping that they would have been able to get back to the others without being noticed. Being a demigod, that, of course, didn't happen. The Cyclopses caught onto their scents and Kaden heard their footsteps nearing towards them. He shoved Elizabeth into a closet and closed the door behind him. He put his hand over her mouth.
Mihala yelped, she was falling.
Elizabeth reached for one of her rings, she heard some screams. Thats not reassuring.
"Do you have any tricks up your sleeve or do I need to raise the dead?"
“Depends what tricks you need.”
"To make sure we don't die."
Elizabeth was silent, “Has to be a little bit more specific than that. Like I can conjure up a distraction, a distraction that will also suffocate them.”
He shook his head. "Nevermind. Just try not to freak out." And then he shadow traveled them away. He didn't like taking other people with him when he did, but he wouldn't just leave her there.
Elizabeth was a little pale.
He pressed the back of his hand to her cheek when they appeared where they had begun. "Are you okay?" He asked with concern.
“Yep, perfectly. 100% fine. Just cold.” Elizabeth answered, her face was pink again.
He nodded but kept her close just in case.
“We’re going to find the others, right?”
"If they're not in the belly of a Cylcops then yes."
“I’m pretty sure they’re alive.”
"We're going to find out."
“They went left.”
"Let's just hope we won't die too."
“I’m sure we won’t. We might have a near-death experience, however.”
"You're too optimistic."
“That’s my thing!”
He rolled his eyes. "Let's go." He went left.
“They’re not here? Why is there a dead end?”
He shrugged. "Maybe they're in the Cyclops belly."
“Oh my gosh Kaden, stop being such a pessimist. Maybe they found soemthing out.”
He shrugged.
“So… now what?”
