"So what are you doing?" he said curiously
"So what are you doing?" he said curiously
She sighed. "Work…" she muttered, her eyes busily scanning the screen.
"Take a break. at least for a little while"
"I can't," Bridget replied quickly, her fingers flying across the illuminated keys.
"Yes, you can." He said crossing his arms. "I can't believe work is more important than a sick person."
She stopped and looked at him with a shake of her head. "Fine," she reluctantly sighed and shut her laptop.
He smiles. "Yay!" He coughs a little.
"Are you okay?" she asked quickly.
"Yep." He said calmly.
She sighed. "Well. Now that you've successfully dragged me away from my work, what do you want to do?"
"Wanna watch a movie?"
"Alright, what movie?" she asked nonchalantly.
"You pick."
"Well, I don't know many movies," she admitted. "I'm too busy…"
"Then how about…A horror movie?"
"Alright," Bridget agreed. She didn't like horror, but she wasn't the 'sick' one.
He hands her some movies. "I'll let you pick one!"
They all looked chilling. "Um… I don't know any of these."
"Just pick one."
She picked the one that looked the least scary to her.
It was bad match. "this ones not scary." He laughs.
"You told me to pick!" Bridget defended herself, blushing a little.
"No. It's not a bad movie." He continues laughing. "Don't be embarrassed."
"Oh," she said quietly. "If you want to pick something else, you can."
"I said it was a good movie. We can watch it"
She nodded and stood up to put it in.
He sits up smiling his head off.
"Oh, so now you're better, huh?" she teased, sitting on the couch next to him.
"It's just so I won't be laying down," he said pouting.
"If I'm not going to work, I don't need these," she commented, taking off her glasses. She looked so much more tired without them. "Or… this." She took out her tight bun and let her hair dangle just below her shoulders. She looked younger. Younger and tired. "Ready to start the movie?" she asked, looking over at him.
