@Voloctis

the premise of my book is that there are 12 chapters and each chapter we follow a different protagonist. By the end there would end of being at least 12 protagonists but each the main focus of their own chapter. these 12 stories all take place in the same world and around the same time but from different perspectives, some are kings and others are your everyman. I think that this would be an interesting and more connectable way for the reader to experience the story I intend to expose them to. I would like anyone's feed back or their own creative way to tell their story.

@Voloctis

its been about 3 years in the making, i finally finished my second chapter so i'm 1/6th of the way through. I'd be more than happy to talk to you about it if you'd like.

that would be great
so a few questions
what time peroid?
is there magic?
whats the genre?

@Voloctis

as many questions as you'd like!
1: it takes place in the 5th era of the world after the councils start.(each era is 200 years so roughly 1000 years since they started tracking time accurately and started a central government. For our history its about the 1400's or so
2: yes there is indeed magic and there are five main branches and even a major school created hundreds of years ago for those who are dedicated enough to learn or skilled.
3: It is medieval fantasy, which is one of my favorite hence why that's the genre

thanks
who are the characters?
their roles?
do they end up meeting?

@Voloctis

of course not. I suppose that you're wondering if the protagonists ever meet one another, well in fact they will and quite often too. Sometimes there will even be references from the actions of one chapter that affect the world as a whole or just another chapter. in fact the Protag (i'll just shorten it for time sake.) of chapter 7 is the son of the Protag of chapter 3. The Protag of chapter 2 ends up in the same place as the Protag of chapter 5 at the same time and they both work together so the reader will see the same series of events with different eyes and mind.

if you meant something else than how I took it just let me know.

are there going to be relationships between any of the characters or are you keeping it platonic?

@Voloctis

There will be relations between characters but not between Protags in that sense. it may seem quite wrong of me to have no real female protag but they do play important roles and such with in the stories, some even cause the events to transpire.
