I've been writing a one act named "Truth or Dare?" (title due to change) There's Nadia (an insane girl who is trying to get revenge on the group of people responsible for her brother's extreme bullying and eventual suicide) and there's Vanessa (ex-girlfriend of dead brother, bullied him the most. Leader of group.) The setting begins in Vanessa's home, during a slumber party. At midnight, they are lured to an abandoned house on the outskirts of town by Nadia.

But here's my problem. I can't think of a plausible way for Nadia to lure the group there. I've had two ideas thus far, but I can't make them fit in comfortably, no matter how much I try to adapt the script.

Idea 1: A Truth or Dare app.

Pros:
~ Easy for Nadia to manipulate
Cons:
~ There's nothing to drive them to stay in the house.
~ There's no easy entrance to bringing the app up.
~ Nadia needs to be sure only this group gets the app.
~ There's nothing to encourage them to go to the house.

Idea 2: A Radio Competition

Pros:
~ Nadia can be sure that the group gets the challenge (Because she watches the phones)
~ There's a reward if they stay in the house all night
Cons:
~ Difficult to manipulate without arousing suspicion
~ Easier entrance to bring up, but still kinda forced.
~ There's nothing to encourage them to go to the house.

So, I'm reaching out to listen to more ideas. I'm open to anything.

Perhaps Vanessa and her friends could be outside (playing a game in the dark, the only light coming from a few street lamps near her house. The road is empty, and no one seems to be out), and Vanessa happens to see Nadia walking by (this may not work if Nadia lives farther away). Vanessa, not questioning why Nadia would be out late at night alone, decides to make a snide remark loud enough for Nadia to hear. Nadia is angered and throws a stone at Vanessa, thus angering her. Vanessa could run after Nadia, who darts away, elated that her plan is working so far. As Nadia runs farther away from Vanessa, she could taunt the bully, making her even more angry than before. Vanessa's friends are running after her to try and stop the chase, but with no luck. Eventually, Nadia could reach the abandoned house and duck inside. Vanessa could take this as a sign of weakness and follows her, saying things like "You're such a coward, hiding in here. Isn't this house to scary for you?" Things like that. This is a suggestion, and somewhat cliche, I think. If it helps you, wonderful! If not, that's perfectly fine.

Ah, true. I missed that part. Maybe a truth or dare app would work, or maybe a phone call? But instead of manipulating Vanessa, Nadia could blackmail her into going into the house?

Maybe you could have nadia have a partner who makes a loud noise in the abandoned building and then have Nadia tease them calling them cowards, eventually convincing them to all go to see what the sound is. But like i said you would need an accomplice
