If a citizen ever got caught speaking to someone of another sector they were sent away to who knows where. Desolation was a dose of reality, the ones who showed us how bad the system really was, the ones who cried over the past and saw the loss of dignity in the Angst sector.
Idyllic brought it all back full circle, reminding us of our purpose, and why what we were doing worked.
Vexation: the ones who protected us from the unknown so that we didn’t have to.

Casimir is from Vexation (anger) and he needs to get shot in training so he can meet another character…. help?

Some input:

  • Bullet wounds are serious business. Does he have to be shot, or could the scene happen another way?
  • Personally (if Casimir being put out of commission isn't important to the plot) I'd see if you could injure him in another, less serious way. Maybe he sprains something, breaks a finger or his nose, bruises his ribs, etc.; all injuries that would make him need to see a medic but not be seriously out of it or have long-lasting side effects
  • If you do need him to get shot, don't have him get shot in the torso. There's a lot of organs in there and even if one isn't hit, it's still very sloppy.
  • Some generally non-fatal places for him to be shot include the butt (which, I assume, isn't exactly the tone you're trying to convey, but is fleshy and–unless the bullet hits the hip bone–won't have too many long-term effects) and either a finger or a toe (but that finger or toe would almost certainly come off, which would be difficult)
  • Unless the people in his faction don't give a flying fuck about safety, training wouldn't involve live rounds as opposed to something like rubber ammunition or some sort of stun-shot (if we're talking something with futuristic tech) that would still hurt the person who was shot, but not risk killing them

Thank you so much for your input. I think that I am going to go with a broken rib and make the guns similiar to that of a BB gun since the recruits are just training. He might get hit by someone running or something.

No problem! Injury research is tough and I feel like a lot of people (myself included) don't have good resources to go to for it so I'm glad to've helped.
