National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) happens every November. It is a challenge to set out and write 50,000 words during the month of November. It doesn't have to be a novel, nor a finished plot, nor even good – if you write the words, you're a winner. And if you don't, well, then you at least wrote a lot more than you would have otherwise!

GUYS you just have to get to 50000 by the end of November. If you miss day one, that's fine! just write double tomorrow and keep rolling!

I don't do the normal nanowrimo but there a nanowrimo ywp for younger writers and I usually do about 20,000 words.
