I'll give you a run through.

So, it is about Adam Gray Karson (This story is actually here, I'm transferring it to NaNoWriMo) and his blind brother, Lucian. Their father left them when Lucian was born, and Adam has to now stay behind in the sleepy town of New Haven, Arizona to take care of his ten year old brother. He is in his twenties, and he wants to live his life, see the sights, go to college, but he can't leave because his mother works extra shifts at the hospital to provide for the family, and they can't afford a babysitter. So he is stuck.
He and his brother has a tradition of Lucian telling Adam his wondrous stories, and Adam writing them down, transposing them into braille so that Lucian can keep them, (Not very important to the plot, but I thought it was cute.)
So, one day, Lucian starts talking about a visitor he has been getting named James, and naturally, Adam freaks out. One, his father's name is James, and two, Lucian is blind, he can't have strangers just waltzing into the house.
So long story short, James ends up being their father, and he is trying to tell Adam something, but all he can get out is "Go to your grandfather," Before starting to growl and twitch. He grabs Lucian and runs at ungodly speed, and Adam is left alone and injured in his house, not knowing what to do.
(That's what I have written)
So, I'm not going to get into the logistics of the rest because it's complicated (If you want to keep up on it, whatever I write on NaNoWriMo will be put here), but Adam turns out to be the next in a long line of demon hunters, and his grandfather is dying, provoking the demons to try and kill off the line so that they can reign. The archangel Micheal picked this genealogy to fight battles on earth while they fight battles in heaven. So Adam is now the next demon hunter, searching for his brother, and killing any demon he sees along the way.

I know is sounds supernaturalish, but I promise I didn't base it on the show, I actually based it on the bible. The two characters are nods to the preist Elisha and his servant. His servant was blind to the spiritual world, but Elisha could see the spiritual warfare going on, and so he opened his servant's eyes to see the warring. I though, hmm, what a cool idea.
And the archangel Michael fascinates me, and demons fascinate me, so, her I am lol.
