So basically I recently got my provisionals (Aussie system, I turned 17 and passed first time!) and now I can drive by myself and have music.
The radio is often boring so I listen to my own spotify playlist/s.
Thing is…my music isn't my parents' tastes and it often swears/mentions or alludes to sex.
One of the songs on a mostly good playlist is literally all about sex (no joke, but it's on my main couple's playlist so it's fine).

I just want a bunch of super safe songs to play if my parents come into the car, preferably at least like 2 hours long or something.
Typical pop songs on the radio are fine by my dad (and being born in 61 (yes he is 59) he doesn't mind older music, like 70's and 80's stuff).
My mum likes Taylor Swift and I think she likes Katy Perry.
Of course I'm only going to add songs that I like but I need a bunch of suggestions - all are welcome.
I personally like Harry Styles, Ben Platt (ahh i love Ben Platt but his songs are mostly slow), Melanie Martinez (not a good idea though because SWEARS) and Billie Eilish

So far I think I'm going to add (haven't made it though lol)

  • Adore You - Harry Styles
  • Watermelon Sugar - Harry Styles
  • Blinding Lights - The Weekend
  • Smile - Katy Perry
  • Harleys in Hawaii - Katy Perry

@Rainy_is_back

I sometimes use this website when I'm trying to find songs that sound similar. I don't know if you still need this or not, but I just thought I'd give a suggestion.

Also, while I'm here, some of my personal favorites;

  • Pompeii- Bastille
  • Riptide- Vance Joy
  • Let Me Go- Hailee Steinfeld Alesso
  • Strings- Shawn Mendes
  • You Can't Stop The Girl- Bebe Rexah
  • Legit any Imagine Dragons song, if you like that kind of music

(You totally don't have to like any of my suggestions, just thought I'd try to offer some kind of help :P)

Okay, so this one is slightly harder to find, but it is an older one with some upbeat jazzy sound to it
And, since it is a Christian artist gone secular (not about god really at all, don't worry), the whole album is clean.
It is called Erace by the goatee bros
It is great within being all about eliminating racism.
