Blood Magic - they use their own blood to cast magic
Ability to summon creatures/demons (could be by blood magic or ritual magic)
Curse Manipulation - ability to place curses on people, remove them, create hexes, probability manipualtion (like bad luck for others, or bad luck for self and that manifests into being a bad luck charm type of ability)
Destructive Magic Casting - casting incredible spells of dark energy that are explosive and volatile, not completely controlled, but extremely dangerous
Necromancy - summon/control the undead
Reality warping
Spell Casting
Ritual Spell Casting
Sacrificial Spell Casting

  • Complete mind control - of humans, creature and animals etc.

Oh crap, I had this idea for a D&D character a while back:

A Necromancer Bard, playing the flugelhorn (think of a trumpet, just with a much cleaner tone). He's a jazz musician, and whenever he needs to use a spell, he plays his horn. The more powerful the spell, the more musicians he summons to help him out. Eventually, he's got a full jazz orchestra that could bring down the walls of Jericho. He's got friends in all of these musicians, Charlie the cornet player, Morton and Louis on horns, Mingo on bass, Tony on guitar, Arty on drums, Ray on keys, and Sonny, Julian, Chuck, and Ducky on various saxophones.

Can summon, banish and/or control skinny, dengue, ghosts, zombies and other denizens of the dark.
Can raise or revoke the dead, making and/or unmaking ghosts, zombies and the like.
Can shapeshift into a large black cat and/or dog, and giant black spider, or a horde of things like lizards, snakes, spiders and centipedes.
Give, take, make, delete and control curses.

Allows for umbrakinesis and shadow travelling as well as making constructs of darkness.

Hella rituals and that type of thing for the most powerful spells.

Dreamwalking and minor control.
