forum Need help with a secret lab building

In a story I'm writing, one character ends up in a secret lab holding and researching demons. The part where the demons are kept is underground, but I'm not sure if the lab part should also be underground and secretly under another building, or if the entire building is a lab. What would make the most sense? FYI, the lab was built by a very rich organization, so money isn't a problem.

definitely put it under a building with some secret elevator stuff to get down to the lab.
they prob wouldn't want civilians walking into the lab thinking it was just a normal lab
so maybe put it under a law firm or some really average-looking building.
