So yeah, people, I'm bad at naming… So I need some help, please.

It is a city in the depths of the ocean. So, of course, it is covered my a dome - which, outside, looks like a bunch of rocks, but inside, let the inhabitants see the ocean. About the inhabitants, they're formed majority by robots and androids (the difference is that androids looks like humans, robots are more artificial looking), as artificial intelligence is outlawed (you can't build a robot/android with intelligence, or to use the term of my story, "artificial sapience" - artificial beings who can feel and make plans for the future). They live in this underwater city to hide from humans. The temperature is kept at 10ºC, the city have a sober atmosphere, as it is mostly dark gray/dark brown-ish. Don't have many decorations and colors because they are more focused in surviving than exercising their imagination (which they have). All the inhabitants are helped by a artificial sapience who controls every inner working of the city, and there's small working sapiences known as the "Mires" who help fix things and can enter small spaces the bigger workers can't. The Mires have a length of 60 cm.

And dang I described a lot of the city and yet I can't think about a name aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Help please.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Maybe something that brings to mind the ocean, or classic submarines? Idk. Off the top of my head, I'd say something from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea would be a fun little reference/easter egg. Perhaps Nemo or Nautilus?

@ElderGod-Icefire

Nautilus is also the name of the submarine from 20,000 Leagues, which is why I suggested it. You could also run different ocean related things through a translator, perhaps into Greek or Latin?

Haha alright! You're welcome!

Thanks to you I remembered something very important: the creators* used to call the places in their setting after real world places. So yeah, time to follow their footsteps!

*yeah, I'm writing a fanfic

So thanks a lot! Meteor Deep is its name!
