Cat nodded and walked off. She turned at the door and waved at Aurelie.

Aurelie waved back, unable to keep the smile off of her face. She still almost couldn’t believe that had just happened. It was her first kiss with a girl, and it was everything she thought it would be.

cat left and walked straight to her room. She later down on the bed and passed out. She tried not to think about what she had to do next.

Aurelie got ready for bed quickly before slipping under the covers. It took her a while to finally fall asleep, reliving the moments from earlier, until she finally closed her eyes.

The next day Cat was up early in her maid uniform. Instead of going to do her work in the castle she snuck off through and back door and was now whispering to a tall man.

Aurelie saw a glimpse of Cat, and hurried after her, excited to see her. “Hey, Grace!” she called, seeing the man she was talking to. “Who’s your friend?” She typically got up early and liked to just wander around occasionally.

Cat gave her brother, Alex, a warning look that changed to a smile when she turned to face Aurelie. “He’s my older brother Cole. He wanted to stop by and say hi,” Cat explained. Alex waved.

“Oh, hi!” Aurelie chirped. “It’s nice to meet you, Cole! I’m Aurelie!” She noticed the look but didn’t have any siblings, so she figured it was probably just that.

“Nice to meet you as well your highness,” Alex said smiling at Aurelie. Cat’s smile faltered slightly but she didn’t react.

“You can call me Aurelie,” she responded, smirking at the formal title. “Your sister is the coolest.” She giggled.

Cat blushed slightly. "Oh really she can be such a nerd at home," Alex joked smirking. Cat rolled her eyes and playfully hit Alex's arms.

Aurelie smiled at their show of sibling affection. It was so sweet to her. “Is that so?” she teased, raising an eyebrow and looking at Cat.

"I don't know what he's talking about! I've always been cool," Cat said rolling her eyes again.
"I need to get going," Alex said. He took a letter out of his pocket. "Here take this its from mom." Cat accepted the letter slipping it into her own pocket.

“See you,” Aurelie chimed in, smiling at Alex. He seemed nice to her. And it was sweet that their mother sent Cat letters.

“See ya too,” Alex said before giving Cat a quick hug.
“Thanks for coming I’ll see you in a few day,” Cat said. Alex nodded and said goodbye before leaving.

“He seems nice,” Aurelie commented. “It was sweet of him to visit and all.”

Cat nodded. "Yeah it was," She said smiling softly. "I don't have to work for another hour if you want to hang out." she stepped a little closer to Aurelie.

Aurelie blushed. “Sure, totally,” she agreed quickly. Ugh, she was so awkward. She glanced away for a moment and then back at Cat.

Cat smiled and intertwined her hands with Aurelie's. "Do you want to walk around?" she asked.

The fluttery feeling in Aurelie’s stomach was back and here to stay, most likely. “Sure, that sounds good.”

Cat grinned and started walking along a small path. “So how’s your morning so far?” She asked.

“Great, now that you’re here,” she flirted, feeling a bit bolder now. Her cheeks were still a bit pink from blushing.

Cat chuckled slightly. “You’re so cute,” she said kissing her on the cheek.

“So are you,” she returned, her cheek tingling where Cat had kissed her. A slight breeze ruffled her hair.

She blushed slightly “why thank you. Do you have classes today?” She asked continuing to walk hand in hand.

“Yeah, today I have astronomy and history,” Aurelie replied. “They’re actually both kind of fascinating. I’m a bit of a history buff, truthfully.”

“Need,” Cat joked. “But they do sound interesting. Astronomy is like planets and stuff right?”

“Yep, and constellations,” Aurelie told her, a bit excited. “It’s one of my favorites. And history, of course, so I don’t want to skip my classes today.” She giggled.
