Brutality is a funny word when you think about it for too long, and if you do, it starts to lose all meaning.
Dorian Gray is a simple man, but the monster created by none other than Frankenstein Himself is no man at all. It just so happens that they are in equal parts enraptured and disgusted by each other, in equal measure hated and loathed but loved and cherished.
Ok I’m just making this because I like enemies with benefits ok??? Also because the concept is honestly thrilling. The plot is as follows:
Dorian Gray is not yet immortal, and is vainly and futilely obsessed with his youth, beauty, and his overall image. But when he meets a certain monster in an old, skeevy pub late one night, he is immediately struck by the haunting visage of this abomination and is ultimately very interested in bringing said abomination to his bed. Ultimately this leads to a spiral of events that lead to lots of shenanigans, and probably also murder.
Rules:
Experienced rpers preferred, as well as people who actually know the source material I’m going off of. Also! Please no smols. I want to write straight (ahem. Not so straight but you know what I mean) smut and I don’t need middle schoolers with nothing better to do ruining my vibe.
Also! This roleplay will contain: darker themes like problematic, toxic, and even just downright nasty relationships and dynamics, period typical homophobia/transphobia, murder, substance use and abuse, mentions and possible scenes including prostitution, smut, (obviously goes to DMs) and possible discussions/mentions (NOT ONSCREEN/IN TEXT, I REPEAT WE WILL NOT BE RPING THIS) of sexual assault and rape. Probably other stuff too so let me know your triggers in advance.
Also don’t be a queerphobe or racist sexist idiotic bigoted etc… Characters can have shitty beliefs but we don’t have to reflect those beliefs ourselves and probably shouldn’t. Anyways, have fun and let’s get depressed!
